Last Sunday, April 6th at 3:00 p.m. at the monument of Mikołaj Copernicus in Toruń, the “Toruna Against Immigration” demonstration took place. The organizers were local structures of the All-Polish Youth. The demonstration brought together about 300 people, among them members of the National Movement party, the Confederation of the Polish Crown and the Patriotic Association Toruń, who were besides co-organisers of the event. Local patriots besides appeared.
Manifestation began with speech of the president of the All-Polish Youth territory of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Maciej Januszewski. In his speech he recalled dangerous incidents involving foreigners in cities specified as Śrem, Wednesday Wielkopolska, Poznań or Mielno. Agnieszka Szumilas representing the Confederation of the Polish Crown spoke next. It called for the assembly to avoid mistakes made by Western European countries and besides explained the risks of the adoption of the migration pact. The last talker was the president of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie territory of the National Movement Przemysław Binkowski. He talked about the cultural diversity of foreigners who would be relocated to Poland. He expressed his opposition to the actions of the government as well as the Marshals' Offices on the construction of abroad integration centres
During the speeches there was a clear voice of opposition to the construction of the CIC, multiculturalism and the full process of relocation of immigrants to Poland.
The Manifestation ended with the addition of the slogans “Out with the European Union” and “Poland in Poland Host”.
