Michalina Manos – 1 of the first intersex people to appear on Polish television, specifically in the second edition of the Top Model program, betrayed Poodlek.pl portal that she was active with erstwhile National Movement activist Krzysztof Bosak.
David Sixak was active in this structure for many years, serving as both the National Movement and the Armed Forces National Soldiers Union. 2 years ago, he applied unsuccessfully for the mandate of a Confederate Member. On August 24, Sixak announced publically that he had resigned his membership of the National Movement and had completely ceased his activity in its structures. The departure afraid not only organization positions, but besides functions performed in the Kombatan organization. As he pointed out in a message he published on social media, his decision was profoundly thought out and not due to political conflict, but to the request for interior compatibility between individual life and values. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude to everyone he has worked with over the last years, stressing that he wishes them success in "building the large Poland". At the same time, he announced that he would proceed to support any of the activities of the Movement, but no longer as an active activist.
Michalina Manoza's comment was short, but much talking.
"We are together, love does not choose."
The intersexual individual emphasized that David’s decision was sovereign and based on his own thoughts, not on her pressures. It is worth recalling that already during the issue of “Top Model” she decided to have a sincere and groundbreaking confession, which resembles Pudelek.pl:
“Munius confessed that she was an intersex person, and as a kid she functioned as a boy. After reaching maturity, she underwent a sex correction.”
Intersex individuals are born with differences in sexual characteristics – they may concern chromosomes, gonads, hormone levels or the construction of reproductive organs – which do not fall within the typical definitions of the female or male body. According to the Office of the United Nations advanced Commissioner for Human Rights, these features are "not consistent with the typical definitions of male and female bodies". In practice, this may mean both ambiguity of sexual organs at birth and different combinations of genotype and sex phenotype, another than classical XX (female) or XY (man). In the past, intersex individuals have been defined by terms specified as "hermaphrodites" or "both", but these terms have been abandoned – present they are considered politically incorrect. The word "intersex" was introduced in the early 20th century. Since 2006, the word “sex developmental disorders” (DSD) has besides been utilized in the medical community.
