When the word “love” is spoken, especially in the mouth of today’s youth, it de facto means fornication, uncleanness, and even homosexuality. All of this put into 1 bag – “love”. Indeed, it is anti-love, selfishness and perversion. Unfortunately, we Slavs have only 1 word for love.

The Bible here speaks of God's love, of the highest humiliation, of the highest suffering, and of the highest consecration. There are 3 terms for love in Greek and it is worth remembering. “Agape” is an unselfish love for God. Jesus asks Peter: “Agapas me? Do you love me with God’s love?” Peter answers: “Philo se – I love you with this human love.” ‘Philia’ – That's the second word for love. It's a love for parents, siblings and people. The word “eros” means physical love, related to sexuality, and only a man and a female who have legally married have the right to it, due to the fact that it involves the transfer of life, upbringing, and, therefore, sacrifice for future offspring.
