Forgotten German concentration camp in Gliwice

There is most likely not a single Pole who has not heard of the German Nazi concentration camp in Auschwitz. However, fewer people are aware of the existence of a network of associated subcamps, which were a place of tragedy and death for thousands of people who were considered by Nazi Germany as an enemy and unnecessary element.

One specified forgotten center was the Gleivitz IV camp. He was in Gliwice. It was formed in the first half of 1944. It was a male subcamp.[1]. Among the tasks the prisoners there were the construction and expansion of the Heeresbanverwaltung OT military barracks. Bauvorhaben[2].

Camp existed until January 1945. Most of the prisoners were Jews of Polish, French and Hungarian origin[3]. The site became a torture facility for the prisoners there. His sadistic approach was distinguished by the deputy commander of the Unterscharführer SS camp, Otto Latsch, who murdered prisoners even for heating up during the winter[4].

Currently, these areas are threatened by plans to invest in a food marketplace and a commercial park. The task is in the process of obtaining permits[5]. This situation is interesting adequate that the planned construction work covers the site of the erstwhile concentration camp. If we take into account the fact that prisoners who were mostly Jews were killed in the sub-camp, a very interesting situation will happen erstwhile possible human remains are discovered.

Whether specified a situation will lead to the cessation of construction work if we consider that we are dealing with the remains of a judaic prisoner, according to the communicative that Polish public opinion knows about the blocking of judaic exhumation in Jedwabne for years.

Nota bene: it is interesting to see the position of the groups demanding separation of religion from the state, unaware of the presentation of beliefs blocking the state's exhumation, which would be crucial for the Polish reason of the state), or the exhumation will take place as in the world, for example in Ukraine in 2020 in the village of Satanów, where at the initiative of the local judaic community, headed by the rabbi, almost 300 Jews murdered during planet War II were transferred.[6].

Time will tell, however, it is worth to follow the information related to this event and to be able to mention it to national issues.
