Both gentlemen, with all due respect to them, are very much mistaken.
I would like to remind you that rabbinic Judaism did not come out of nowhere. It originates from the Pharisees and scribes, those with whom Jesus Christ fought. In the Gospel, Christ says that the father of the Pharisees is the devil, and it is hard to disagree.
Hanukkah is simply a commemoration of the re-consecration of the Jerusalem Temple by the Maccabees.
But in these times the temple is demolished, even before it was destroyed, God left it. The Talmudists themselves admit that after Christ’s crucifixion God stopped receiving burnt offerings.

Nope. It is Christianity, not Talmudism, that is the successor to ancient Testamentism.
