Marcin Drewicz: CANDIDAT IN THE OFFICE OF THE president OF THE RP, Part I: On household Life in Contemporary Poland
Advice spontaneously given by average citizens during election campaigns to candidates for advanced or highest offices in the State is an integral part of the alleged democratic procedures that these candidates join.
For this reason, we do not begin this message by apologizing for the fact that we dare to formulate this statement, or even for the fact that... we live at all, we observe the planet around us and think about it here, on these tears of the pap...
Our advice only deals with selected issues, due to the fact that among another things – at least according to our knowing – this candidate for the Polish Presidency, which we perceive to as much as possible via the net (other candidates seem to be silent about it). But at the same time it speaks on many another crucial topics, of course, but we are not talking about everything at once. So, to the point, “a fewer things that are not new”.
We accept here without proof that the powerful since more than half a century ago this "crisis of matrimony and family" is the consequence of major social events accumulated in the 1960s. 1 of them is from outside the Catholic area, the “1968” moral revolution; another is seen over the past “postobor” decades weakness, thematic narrowing, and in more and more cases even... distortion (sic!) of this common teaching conducted by many (too many!) among the Roman Catholic clergy (chamber sermons, catechization, Catholic publicist... etc.).
As a result, a average Catholic and spiritual matrimony provides for its increasing children, possibly more for their daughters, specified a way of happiness in life, specified a Triad:
- ‘good school’ (today all this, in their opinion, is best called ‘studio’);
- "good work" (often in abroad companies, not Polish companies, in many of the largest or any of the largest employers);
- "good apartment" (now it is not only "in Warsaw", as in the time of the impossible "iron curtain", but in 1 of the best large cities of Western Europe or North America).
And this is present for many Polish families, at least nominally Catholic families, the Stocent Dreams about Happiness. This is the full moon!
But if Fullness, then, as we see, there is no more area for "nothing more," therefore, nor for:
- Holy Catholic Feast (who knows the meaning and content of this expression today? what catechestes or preachers remind of it?), nor:
- Holy Sacramental Catholic Marriage, or:
- Holy Catholic Parenthood.
Thus we gathered here the Second Triad, but indeed, erstwhile we ignore these truly disturbing "applications" above in brackets, it is not the other of the First Triad! It was the confused people of our age who took possession of the “resonant boxes” that this and that were mutually exclusive. It is neither excluded nor excluded, but it complements 1 another "for so many centuries" (!). First Triad with Second Triad. You gotta live somewhere, and live with something honest, and get married and rise kids... What's the contradiction?
But since the present-day multifaceted minister begins a Sunday sermon from the fact that a sociologist, not a Catholic (and in his youth a communist safety officer) from the academic highlands, argued that the matrimony is simply a risky undertaking before all (!), then we... the mildest thing is to resent this preacher. What the hell are we... hoo... hoo... ow, we're celebrating Sunday at Holy Mass any godless sociologist with his academic highlands?!
Oh, my God! What do we care about on a regular day, or on a Christmas day?! I repeat! And that was said in connection with reading the Holy Gospel about the wedding in Cana of Galilee. Where precisely are we? What are they doing to us?
Already at this point, ahead of a somewhat further narrative, we note (not the first of us) that what is happening now inside the Holy Church, and especially in certain circles of Catholic clergy, the purity of Catholicism must be sought even more than they do so far.
If secular, then besides the state secular power (sic!!!). After all, we are here discussing advice to the candidate for president of Poland.
As for this Catholic Marriage, it is preceded by the youth of a young man and a virgin, and this youth is, as we know, preceded by the childhood of a boy and a girl. Yes, man, in various parts, learns and raises throughout his life ("and stupid dies" – adds the skepticist Polish proverbs).
However, it is this childhood and immediately after it that the earliest youth is especially devoted to education and upbringing of the then increasing man to... applicable fulfillment in further, adult lives, precisely these tasks and/or desires mentioned not in one, but in both above mentioned Triads (i.e. threes).
Here we must briefly defy this alleged social Catholicism, "the owners of youth", and "the defenders of the rights of the child" (sic! so they call themselves). Yes, childhood and youth are separate stages in man's life (and all surviving organism too), requiring the age of this young man to be treated, but – whether you like it or not – youth inevitably (!) leads to adulthood, with all these consequences. That's it. This is the law of nature by the Lord God Himself created.
Above these 3 basic (or not only) environments of human upbringing, besides the Triad, already the Third: Family-Church-School, appeared before us.
And how does all this relate to the title individual of the Candidate for the office of the president of Poland and his programme statements already made as part of the election campaign?
And so that this Candidate besides points to burning needs and modern shortcomings of our Nation included above besides in this Second and 3rd Triad (because the First Triad is always very passionate, due to the fact that it concerns this tangible matter, here and now; but we will return to it!).
As for Marriage-Marriage-Parenthood, 2 ways appear here for politics – as we think. 1 is that many politicians in their phraseology utilized to follow in our times, speaking about economical and more material aspects of human life. Good! Let them bid on which 1 will enable Poles to work reasonably and to collect and consume their own work.
The second parallel trail, in fresh times, is by politicians for various and rather complex reasons alternatively unattended. And we at erstwhile reserve that we have no intention of provoking anyone, nor of sedition, nor of drawing them out into quicksands or on fragile ice. Oh, no!
But this way is known in history, and many rulers, actual that in earlier times, it was successfully followed, specified as with a mountain of 5 100 years ago the Servant of God, Queen Isabella Castilian, a lay person, undertaking not only the healing of his kingdom-state, but besides the Church operating in that kingdom-state.
due to the fact that today, in our time, Catholic laymen cannot address Catholic clergymen about... the wide preaching of the Real Science, so besides the 1 about this Catholic Marriage-Parenting? After all, today, not only in the area of sexual life, but in all area of life, how many people would cease to sin if individual were to be in their scope before all... HE INFORMED that what they are doing now, how they live, is simply a sin.
Who would have told them... barely (and until). But since the word "sin" itself, like the word "purity", in many places, has not been heard in nominally Catholic teaching...
Although in tiny Catechism we have the 3 Divine Virtues and the 4 Main Virtues, and behind them many virtues derived from them, or subjected to them.
The same small Catechism proclaims: 1. Sinners to reprove; 2. incapable to instruct; 3. Doubtful to advise well... (these are the first 3 of the “Seven works of mercy toward the soul”). erstwhile was the last time you heard, Private Catholic, a Sunday sermon on this subject?
When was the last time you heard a Sunday sermon about, for example, the Holy Sacrament of matrimony and the responsibilities of Catholic spouses, parents, and children? erstwhile have the priests late told you about... the peculiar Commandments of God? Many specified questions are raised, in fact all the countless points covering the full human individual and collective existence of the Holy Catholic Doctrine.
And is it a secular man, and a politician (and his co-workers), who is actually applying for the advanced Office by the electoral route, to be a minister that complements the long-term backlog of church teaching in Poland? It's not! Unless he truly likes it. But anyway, not necessarily him. This is about the following attitude:
“Holy priests. Yes, we want to kind out specified messy Polish matters. In the field of secular power, we want to relieve those of our fellow countrymen suffering for various reasons, and those who have been harmed by individual (!), and thus to blame themselves (!), besides in the area of this fresh incredible blackout in the area of the most widely understood sex life and associated inseparably procreation.
But... without the support of the Catholic clergy, first realized through as usual (!), but full (!) and necessarily not distorted (!) teaching the simple principles of Catholic life our – secular power – efforts will be of small use.”
We have very dangerous times. Here's a lay female preaching eternal Catholic truths, not fresh ones. And here, in mass media, any nominally Catholic clergyman of the hierarch pops up and brutally contradicts him. What do you do about it?
Don't worry. It was all there. The first, the most frequently mentioned Common Councils – as past teaches – were called emperors, secular rulers. And on these councils of their clergy the complex bodies judged apostates-heretics, although these heretics were besides clergymen, and usually advanced rank.
By the way, a alternatively interesting situation in its extraordinary drama would be like this:
- The secular leader directs: “Youth Poland, but you, Poles of no younger age, join the Sacrament of Marriage, give birth to offspring and rise them in Catholic and Polish; and the secular authority will at least effort to remove obstacles from the life of the Catholic Polish Family, and it will remember the rule of subsidiarity.”
- when, at the same time, we hear from a number of nominally Catholic clergymen today: “Yes, but a man is free, a man and a woman, created for a multi-purpose development, especially in today’s ‘world without borders’, he is susceptible (a), prone to multiple stimuli, especially in this incredibly developed ‘virtual world’; and yet, according to these latest (!) provisions of the Holy Church, the first task of matrimony is the good of fellow-wives, so if anything should affect the weakening or abolition of any or understood individual, personal, personal, self-centered ‘good’, here, now as temporally as possible... and especially the good of the modern woman—see above—which is the essence of the sensitive, creative, innovative expression (but and the male of these qualities is not lacking), then it would be essential or even necessary...”. And so on.
What kind of cooperation would it be between specified a secular authority and specified a spiritual authority?
Atoli was already all – and had its consequences and has inactive – that we would point to even the dramatic past of the society and the Church in Spain "posobor". The phenomena like that Poland has already reached.
