Is it possible that we promised this?!

President Karol Nawrocki vetoed the 3rd bill in his short but very intense presidential career. This time it is about records that were expected to prolong aid, and in fact sponsorship from the Polish payer for Ukrainian refugees. The year is 2025, which means that it has been over 3 years since the armed conflict that broke out in Ukraine on 24 February 2022. At the time, a lot has changed., among another things, the attitude of Poles to Ukrainians and vice versa. Social sentiments in Poland are so changed, that even Rafał Trzaskowski announced in his election run that he wanted to take 800+ from non-working Ukrainians in Poland.

Today, Karol Nawrocki announced specified a veto, justifying it with his own electoral promise, but besides mentioned the declaration of his competitor:

The law that was proposed should be corrected today. I am convinced and convinced throughout the run that all the larger political communities, as well as Rafał Trzaskowski, declare clearly that 800 plus should belong to those refugees who undertake to work. The bill that I received on my desk on helping Ukrainian citizens does not make this correction, which was the subject of a public debate. I don't change my mind..

As the president and not only the president noted, Donald Tusk's government did not correct the bill, although the Prime Minister himself personally stated that he was a passionate supporter of the proposed change by Rafał Trzaskowski:

President Rafal Trzaskowski's proposal to pay 800+ only to these migrants, including Ukrainians who actually live, work and pay taxes in our country, will be dealt with urgently by the government. I'm on yes.

I don't think it's amazing to anyone that Donald Tusk, known for making empty promises and this time he didn't keep his word, but Poles and even coalitions remember precisely what happened in the election campaign. The head of the Left Club in her kind published a comment that does not leave a dry thread on the politicians of the Civic Coalition:

.@BoguckiZbigniew He's reminiscing. @Smack_that he himself reported the request to take 800+ from non-working Ukrainians. This is the end of entering the shoes of right-wing populists: they are legitimized by their narrative, and then exposed to funnyness as these demands do not... https://t.co/iohVOUBRRR

On the 1 hand, president Karol Nawrocki makes very courageous political decisions, but on the other, he does the most apparent thing in the world, he simply keeps a word. This is natural for serious people, including politicians who pay attention to their own words and do not lie to citizens. Citizens' Coalition politicians have a immense problem with this and a strong leader in fraud production is Donald Tusk. respective zealous members of the KO attempted to attack president Karol Nawrocki, but were very rapidly brought to earth with quotes from their boss's statements and “Two-hour” president Rafał Trzaskowski. Which model of policy will be more effective will prove to be in 5 years, but it is hard to presume that Poles like lying more than keeping their word.

We don't believe in anyone, we don't believe in anything! We look at facts and draw conclusions!
