Marcin Drewicz: CANDIDAT ON THE OFFICE OF THE president OF THE RP, Part III: About our thought for the Polish School – a reminder

Now, we will afford any privacy, but only on appearance. For there has long been specified a thing as “the Drewicz school improvement project”, a very simple one. Its first outline dates back to... 30 years (!!!). We've been trying to get through it here, there. Well? Nothing! Even co-workers (coworkers!) of 1 of today's Candidates for the Office of the president of the Republic of Poland have late shown no interest in this (sic!), and they have not allowed us (sic!).

However, our unfortunate Homeland has been virtually lost by the increasing number of another “school reformers” and “school reformers” through these decades; now there is simply a “another phase of reform”, erstwhile the ministerial highlands mention these long-awaited “Polish Nazis”. Thus, the “German Nazis” (i.e. national socialists) “enter” can already “take off”.

In our opinion, for a very long time, Poland will emergence up – and I hope to RECOVERY AND WITH THIS UNFAIR SURVEILLED – after the losses it suffered during the 4th of the century (and this corresponds to 1 generation!) the functioning and maintenance of the strategy of the secondary school 3+3 (in the school strategy 6+3+3). There's no place to describe this civilizational collapse.

3 years is for advanced school. In addition, the students were doomed to waste these priceless unique years of earliest youth – any of them wasted the earlier of both these 3 years, others were later, and others were worst due to the fact that both (!!!). In Poland, in that fresh 4th of the year, advanced school was simply not there! So long!

Five times longer (!), than the Second planet War and the then occupying non-existence liquidated by the enemy of the Polish advanced school (and academic advanced school); and in the general school there was no Polish language, history, or geography; was it not like last time?).

But present (the early 21st century) Poles were fine with it – about horror! Isn't it? "Easy, light, you don't even gotta bite...". We haven't heard the protests. Atoli the current school strategy 8+4 is besides not good.

Our motto by a book containing a publicist but supported by appropriate tables is the following:

For the fearful and submissive (it is us today!): 7+5

For the brave: 6+6

For the very brave: 4+8

(Marcin Drewicz, “School strategy 7+5 for Poland”, Lublin 2019; but these texts should besides be found on the Magna Polonia page.)

Yes, the accumulated experience and observations of ourselves lead to tiny adjustments in that project. How interesting is the experience of the fresh "plandemic" and its associated "remote learning". It is worth recalling that the Ministry of Education in the authoritative correspondence of that time stubbornly denied that we were then dealing with a peculiar form of teaching but "home" despite the fact that all students were sitting in a wall in their homes without exception, and to the school, as live, did not go.

Poland, at today's phase in the past of our lechicko-Latin culture (as part of Latin civilization), should lift at least this school strategy for cowards: 7+5. However, if we find – after so many years – any people and/or groups deeper into the thing entering and willing to cooperate – then let us immediately: 6+6.

Look out! The second could be implemented very smoothly already in 2016! After all, we had a 6-year-old primary school at the time, and it should have remained so. “They” knew our project, but they had their own: a small-hearted return to the strategy 8+4, small better than 6+3+3. In both, discipline in mediate School is besides short!

But the fresh (XXI c.) 8+4 is worse than the old 8+4 from the 20th century; for many reasons we will not make here for the thinness of space.

Note, for example, that in the present 21st century, the "graduate exam" ("maturity"!!!) is just specified by name. This will be admitted by anyone who has not flaunted a small bit of time for even part of the survey of the online “examination sheets” from past years, from various subjects. This is simply a farce! And that people in Poland accept this? On this, they willingly "build the future" of their children and their country. This is simply a civilizational disaster!

But, as Florian Koznaniecki, among others, rightly argued, “the school is everything.” Although it is contained in 1 of these multiplied, inflated and at the same time mostly incomprehensible education laws (the plural) Article 37, which deals with home teaching. In our opinion, it is insufficient, due to the fact that besides a very tiny part of Polish families enjoy the rights contained in it, especially in relation to students only the youngest ones, in the area of earlier classes of primary school (and this is good!).

The point is that today, in fact rightly, home education (formerly known as externist) is full COMPLEMENTARY with school education in all 12 years of school education, in schools (for children and young people) without exception of all types and levels. The legal position of a "house only" teacher (whatever that means) should be the same as that of a school teacher, and of course both higher than it is now.

So the boundary between these 2 types of teaching practice should be blurred, and many teachers should, of course to the degree of local possibilities, divide their professional activity into work in both 1 and the another modes.

Our public discussion of the task of home teaching will be found in: Marcin Drewicz, “The principles of home teaching checks and balances“in: “Under the force of modernity”, Lublin 2019, pp. 96-108; and “Project of Article 37 of the Law of Education” in: Marcin Drewicz, “Łuk Stuletenia”, Lublin 2022, pp. 353-371 (in both cases the availability of text on MP portal as above). Yes, we know that any of those provisions are more eligible for the Minister's applicable regulation erstwhile others stay in the text of the higher rank, i.e. in the Act.

The current mode of hiring a teacher at school is straight oppressive (!), due to the fact that for many older teachers (with experience), but besides for those young (starters) it is in efforts to carry out this occupation straight BARIER NOT TO TRANSIT. The teaching profession in Poland has been closed for many years, not one.

It should be so – in details we no longer enter here – that anyone who is substantively prepared and willing to work (obviously Pole, and not any abroad refugee), let and after a period of waiting for the school's slowing down, have the chance to take the same teaching work. Yes, the spread of complementary home education (whatever this means) will surely reduce the strain on employment in question.

How about a "controversial" password, but for now only a password... the introduction of the alleged sex parity in the profession of school teacher, especially in advanced school? What would that be a "word" parity? Is “half”? Or another? But then the Polish State would gotta yet treat the “in Swiss” issue of teacher pay; so that the family's male teachers-parents have something to support their families with.

We compose “Polish State” due to the fact that – whatever we say about it – the vast majority of schools in Poland are still... state-owned (but this was the case in the monarchies before the First planet War, nothing new).

What about the password... leaving class co-education? At least in advanced school.

Are these and another "contributions of socialism" (sic!) which were not here in Poland even during the youth of the oldest generation today, inactive gotta endure (!)?

The current “post-socialism” is to push the Polish language in Poland as a language of teaching from schools of all degrees, most likely not the most of schools (so-called) higher education. A lot to talk about.

Good, but since the Office of the president of the Republic of Poland is simply a single person, it is the task of supporters of a candidate to focus as many possible voters on his individual as possible, and the Candidate on the president alternatively than on another people, e.g. authors of any legal projects. It is different in parliamentary elections, where the multitude of "from the same option" applicants for choice goes hand in hand with simultaneous presentations of ideas from many of them.

Nevertheless, we talk about our ideas on the basis of the current presidential opportunity, with hope for the future. After all, the president has a legislative initiative, he has his own kind of government-bis in the form of Chancellery; and the Candidate of which we are reasoning here announces even the change of the Polish strategy to the presidential one, just so that there is no longer this embarrassing dualism of power here – the president versus Prime Minister with the Government.

At the same time, we are taking advantage of the fact that the candidate spoke so... small about school education. And, in a way... very good(?) that happened! He left the same gap that we are now filling with our idea-project. What's next?

C.D.N.

We besides recommend: PiS pretends to be assertive towards Ukraine. That's another distraction to voters.
