FORT LAUDERDALE— JetBlue Airways (B6) has unveiled a major expansion at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), adding new nonstop routes, increased frequencies on existing flights, and a broader rollout of its premium Mint® experience.
Beginning late 2025, the airline will launch or resume year-round service to multiple U.S. destinations, including Atlanta (ATL), Austin (AUS), Norfolk (ORF), and Tampa (TPA), while enhancing its West Coast connectivity and lie-flat seat availability.

JetBlue Adds New Routes from FLL
JetBlue’s latest announcement reinforces its long-standing investment in Fort Lauderdale as a key focus city. With the return and launch of routes to Atlanta (ATL), Austin (AUS), Norfolk (ORF), and Tampa (TPA), customers in South Florida will gain more nonstop travel options.
These additions target growing demand and strengthen JetBlue’s role in connecting FLL to the U.S. mainland and onward to the Caribbean and Latin America.
In addition to the new destinations, JetBlue is adding one daily flight on several popular routes, including Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), Phoenix (PHX), Raleigh-Durham (RDU), and Richmond (RIC).
These enhancements are designed to meet increasing passenger traffic while offering flexibility for both leisure and business travelers.
Expanded Mint® Experience on More Routes
A standout feature of this expansion is the increased availability of JetBlue’s premium Mint® service from Fort Lauderdale.
This winter, every flight between FLL and LAS, LAX, PHX, and San Francisco (SFO) will offer Mint, marking a significant rise in premium seat offerings from South Florida.
Mint features lie-flat seating, upgraded dining, and personalized service, and is available on up to 13 daily flights from FLL.
JetBlue remains the only carrier offering domestic lie-flat seats out of Fort Lauderdale during the winter season, setting it apart in the competitive premium travel space.

Strengthening JetBlue’s Position at FLL
JetBlue first began serving Fort Lauderdale 25 years ago and has developed it into a strategic hub.
Currently, the airline operates 72 daily departures to 31 cities from FLL, a number set to grow to 95 daily departures to 37 destinations by December 2025.
This increase supports a previously announced 6% year-over-year growth in departures. JetBlue also leads the region in providing transcontinental lie-flat capacity, underlining its premium positioning in the market.
JetBlue will soon introduce the Blue Sky partnership with United Airlines (IATA: UA), enhancing loyalty benefits for frequent flyers.
This collaboration will allow passengers of both carriers to earn and redeem points across more than 125 combined daily flights from FLL, increasing flexibility and value for customers.
