The police stopped a 44-year-old Georgian citizen who tried to break into a car workshop in Warsaw Wola. The man tried to get inside through the ventilation shaft, but was stuck and after a fewer hours he called for aid himself. Firefighters, ambulances and police intervened. Georgian heard allegations of property demolition and home miru breach. He's facing 5 years in prison.
The incidental occurred at Jaktorowska Street. The police called witnesses who heard a cry for aid coming from the building. At the scene, officers found a man trapped in the ventilation shaft. We needed the aid of the firefighters who dug up the intruder. Despite his deficiency of injuries, after pulling out a 44-year-old, he acted aggressively towards the service.
According to forensics, a man tried to break into a closed car shop. erstwhile he realized there was no way out, after about 4 hours he began calling for help. He was detained and transported to the station at Żytnoj Street, where he heard the charges.
The case was handled by police officers from the Department to fight crime against the property of the Volcanic command. Collected evidence allowed Georgian to be charged. The investigation is supervised by the Warsaw-Wola territory Attorney's Office.
This is not the first situation in which a Georgian citizen falls into the hands of the Polish police in connection with crimes against property. In fresh months, the services have seen a marked increase in the number of specified incidents. According to the Police office data, only in the first 4th of 2025 the number of crimes involving Georgian citizens increased by more than 30% compared to the same period last year. Most of these are burglary, theft, and fraud.
Police call on business owners and residents to be vigilant and secure. At the same time, it announces increased inspections and preventive action in areas peculiarly susceptible to specified crimes.
