More than 3 quarters of Poles support the introduction of a ban on social media for children under the age of 15 – according to the IBRIS survey for Radio Zet. Interestingly, consent to a possible regulation is cross-party.
Respondents were asked whether the ban on social media for children under 15 should be introduced in Poland. 45.7% of respondents chose the answer "yes" and another 31.3% indicated "yes".
This means that a full of 77% of respondents support the ban. The other opinion is by far little respondents – 6% chose the option of "not definitely", 5.4% "not at all" (11.4%).
The most supporters of the ban are among the voters of the civilian Coalition and the 3rd Way, but even among the voters of Law and Justice, this percent is just over 67%. As many as 70% of Confederate voters are in favour of limiting access to digital platforms.
A fewer weeks ago, Australia was the first to introduce akin regulations. The Australian-inspired task besides passed the French National Assembly. A heated debate is taking place in the UK and the Spanish and Slovenian governments have already introduced their own regulations.
The IBRIS survey for Radio Zet was conducted by CATI method on 13-14 February 2026, on a example of 1068 people.
