CHICAGO— A United Airlines (UA) employee with a fetish for minors was caught in a sting operation at Chicago O’Hare International Airport by YouTuber JiDion Adams. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about online predators targeting minors through digital platforms.

The operation involved a United Ground Express employee who was arrested after allegedly attempting to meet what he believed was a 15-year-old girl at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). JiDion, whose real name is Jidon Armani Adams, conducted the sting operation that led to the employee’s arrest by airport police.

United Airlines Employee Arrested

JiDion has shifted his focus from prank-oriented content to catching online predators through sting operations. The operation involved Adams posing as a minor online to communicate with the United Airlines subsidiary employee.

United Ground Express, a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines, provides airport ground handling support at many airports across the United network.

The suspect arranged to meet the fictitious minor at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) with plans to take her to a hotel room in nearby Elk Grove Village.

During the online communications, explicit plans were discussed that involved inappropriate activities with the minor. The conversations were documented and later provided to law enforcement as evidence, flagged Live and Let’s Fly.

Confrontation at Major Hub

When JiDion confronted the United employee at O’Hare Airport, the suspect reportedly confessed to his intentions and admitted to similar past behavior involving minors.

The confrontation was recorded and shows the employee acknowledging his actions and providing details about his history of pursuing inappropriate relationships with underage individuals.

Airport police officers worked with JiDion to compile evidence from Facebook chats and other digital communications. The suspect was arrested on-site, and all evidence was prepared for presentation to Cook County prosecutors.

The arrest occurred within the secure areas of one of the nation’s busiest airports, raising additional questions about employee screening procedures.

Prosecution Declined Despite Evidence

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office ultimately declined to prosecute the case, despite recorded evidence of the suspect’s solicitation attempts and his admission to the behavior.

The decision has raised questions about prosecution standards for online predator cases and the effectiveness of citizen-led sting operations in the legal system.

United Airlines has not yet issued a public statement regarding the employee’s current employment status.

United Ground Express, which operates as the airline’s ground handling arm, is responsible for staffing airport support roles across the UA network. It remains unknown if disciplinary action has been taken internally.

Similar Incident

A JetBlue (B6) pilot who was previously arrested at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) died by suicide last month as officers moved in to apprehend him.

The pilot, identified as 33-year-old Jeremy Gudorf of Ohio, was found at Wonderland MBTA Station in Revere, Massachusetts. He was facing serious legal charges in North Carolina and had been out on bail.

Gudorf was wanted on a second-degree child sexual exploitation charge stemming from an investigation in Huntersville, North Carolina. He had been arrested on February 20 at Logan Airport (BOS) just before piloting an international JetBlue (B6) flight to Paris.

Authorities—including Massachusetts State Police, local officers, and U.S. Marshals—located Gudorf inside his vehicle at the Wonderland MBTA Station. As officers approached, he displayed a firearm and fatally shot himself. No law enforcement officers discharged their weapons or were injured.

First aid was administered at the scene, and Gudorf was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Wonderland station was briefly shut down following the incident for safety and investigation purposes.

Arrest at Logan Airport and Legal Background

Gudorf was detained at Logan Airport (BOS) after U.S. Customs and Border Protection identified an outstanding warrant during a routine passenger manifest check. The warrant, issued in North Carolina, related to charges of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

He was arrested on the aircraft and arraigned the next day in East Boston District Court. Despite objections from prosecutors, the judge granted bail at $10,000 and allowed Gudorf to keep his passport, with a directive to appear in North Carolina by February 25.

Massachusetts charged him as a fugitive from justice without a warrant. If North Carolina had not waived extradition, Gudorf was scheduled to return to court in Boston on March 19. His defense attorney emphasized his previously clean record and claimed he was fully cooperating with authorities.
