Under Iława they shot the first episode of the fresh tv series past Channel. due to the fact that “the past of Recovered Lands fascinates”!

He comes from Lower Silesia, his grandpa was among the first Polish settlers in the Sowi Mountains after the war. - I know very well. I realize the climate of the Recovered Lands due to the fact that I grew up on them. And I am certain that these areas are inactive full of secrets that are just waiting to be discovered - says Łukasz Kazek, journalist, prospector and guide, as well as the author of books and reports. Also: films that he publishes on "History Story" - his own channel on YouTuba and makes for past Channel.

- The past of your lands, today's Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, the erstwhile East Prussia, is akin - says Łukasz Kazek, who spent 2 weeks in the area of Iława in late July and August, collecting materials for the first episode of his fresh series "Mysteries of Recovered Lands", implemented for past Channel.

Previously, the author filmed for this channel 2 seasons of the historical series "The Secrets of Lower Silesia"; now he decided to set off, among others, to the north. Warmia and Mazury and Pomerania, besides Opolszczyzna, are parts of the country where for about 7 months he collected materials for a fresh series.

The past of these lands is fascinating - as is the publisher.

- I'm sorry. After the defeat of Nazi Germany in 1945, part of the erstwhile 3rd Reich was incorporated into Poland. Exiting Germans left their homes, villages and cities, which were then settled by Poles arriving by trains, trucks and on foot. These fresh settlers have discovered secrets and treasures in areas known as Recovered Earths, which has sparked a widespread fascination that continues to this day... - we read in past Channel materials. - The fresh program "The Secrets of Earth Recovered" from October 22 on all Tuesday at 21:00 on the past Channel!

- I'm sorry. I spent my childhood in Walimiu close Wałbrzych; this is simply a tiny agrarian municipality - says the author "Mystery". - I was besides a councilman for about 10 years, at municipal and region level, so I know the problems of specified "small homelands". And I am convinced that their communities are worth supporting, even through the organization of events that have the chance to infect their passion for history!

So what's the local episode of Mystery about? To the reader here - and to the viewer - many will already say the title of the inaugural part of the fresh series: "The Treasure of the Finckensteins".

- Yes, of course - we are talking about the treasure found in 2017 by Patrick Lessman - confirms this lead Luke Kazek. "Parryk participated in the recordings, during the local imagination he returned to those events, in a very vivid way recalling his memories.

Today this treasure - von Finckenstein household deposit - palace archive and individual belongings belonging to number Hans Joachim von Finckenstein and his loved ones, members of 1 of the most influential Prussian families - are under the care of the Museum of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.

The author of the series is convinced that the ancestral deposit of reality is worth attention and enthusiastically tells about how rich - and inactive not full explored - is the source.

- I'm sorry. It consists of, among others, Count's notebooks; it is simply a kind of diary, but besides business cards, given friends... Look out! inactive untranslated from German - emphasizes Łukasz Kazek. - It's easy to imagine how the owner takes that notebook out of the jacket, puts it on the table. Apparently, a common everyday object - and it takes us in 1 minute consecutive to another era!

Another example? A deposit is simply a treasure besides in this most apparent sense of the word - or at least it had value at the time of its submission. For there was besides money; in the times from which it came, large money.

- A 1000 100-brand bills - explains Luke Kazek. - In the 1940s, a decent tenement, a fewer cars or a powerful farm could surely have been purchased for specified a sum - he says. - For 1 bill like this, you could definitely live a week or more. For example, in 1944 bread cost 31 penigs, 5 kg potatoes 50 penigs, a liter of milk - 23 penigs. Butter was costly due to the fact that it cost 3 brands, it was synonymous with luxury at the time.

The household deposit is simply a rich and inactive not yet full explored historical origin - says Łukasz Kazek.

There's more to the story. Among the "treasuries of history" are e.g.. Written with a Cyrillic note by a Red Army soldier, dated January 1945.

- I'm sorry. In the first, he writes to another soldiers not to harm the hosts due to the fact that they received them well. Another note is that Russian soldiers take distant everything they have from Finckenstein - it brings the details closer to Luke Kazek. - It can be symbolically assumed that the 500-year past of this powerful Prussian household ends with these 2 Red Army notes

.
HE'S... 1 more "Skarb", 1 more "Deposit"

Conversations with regionalists, but besides a field search, with detectors, led to the discovery of another deposit during work on our premises. We gotta wait until the movie premiere, but Luke Kazek already comments that the discovery is consistent with the memories of the Count's daughter and the maps left behind. It's inactive waiting for the premiere! This is October 22nd evening - on tv or live, starring the author, in the Dry.
