The Tusk government believes that Ukrainians in Poland inactive have besides small privileges at the expense of indigenous peoples. As it turns out, they are not expected to adapt to Polish conditions, but Polish conditions to them. A fresh thought came up with the control of the far left, Ministry of Education.
A fresh programme for children from Ukraine is underway. As revealed on government page, the resolution on fresh privileges for Ukrainians from the pocket of the Polish taxpayer, was adopted on Friday 11 July. It assumes, among others, the co-financing of the employment of alleged "intercultural assistants".
The main nonsubjective of the program, which is divided into 3 modules: assistant assistance, the welfare of the school community and improving the staff of the educational system, is to support schools where children from Ukraine learn. The aim is to make conditions in which “the full school communities feel safe, and children and young people can build friendly peer relationships and make their knowledge, skills and competences.”
Actions under the programme are to take into account "Different needs of pupils with experience of migration and refugees, stemming, inter alia, from linguistic and cultural diversity, experience of war trauma, educational difficulties due to changes in the educational environment, as well as the needs resulting from disability or peculiar skills of the student".
The first module provides for the backing of the employment of "intercultural assistants" to aid students who are not Polish citizens – especially from Ukraine, including gypsy origin. The tasks of the assistant include “diagnosing stages of cultural shock” and “barriers of adaptation and integration”, as well as helping students adapt to the reality in Polish schools.
The second module envisages "increased level of well-being of the school community", specified as strengthening the prevention of intellectual wellness disorders and strengthening intellectual and pedagogical support. This means fresh funds for expert consultations and professional advice for parents or guardians of pupils with "migration or exile experience" and for the staff of the education strategy to assist in solving educational, teaching and care problems.
The 3rd module is, in turn, to increase the professional competence of the education strategy staff in order to effectively "integrate pupils with experience of migration or refugees". It is intended to supply training on, inter alia, educational support resulting from "emigration or exile experience"; work with the branch and in schoolroom teams attended by students with specified experience; support for the inclusion of pupils; individual support.
The hotel Barbara Nowacka stated that he plans to allocate almost PLN 500 million from the Polish taxpayer's pocket for the implementation of the programme.
OUR COMMENTS: There is 1 effective cure for expected "emigration and exile experiences" and this is not the financing of intellectual support and "intercultural assistance" from the Polish budget. This medicine is called return to the countryorigin. Either you accept the conditions of the people who are dictated by the hosts, or you come back to yourself. It's that simple!
