On the Day of National Education, more than 150 teachers, directors of educational institutions, parents, trade union activists and non-governmental organisations took part in a full-day educational conference held in the column hall of the Polish Parliament, “Polish school – deconstruction and reconstruction foundations”, which was sponsored by Deputy Marshal of the Polish Parliament Krzysztof Bosak, and organized the Association “Teachers for Freedom” in cooperation with the Coalition for the Polish School's Salvation.

He pointed out that governance in education can only be restored on the basis of classical values, metaphysical and theological references, as well as the cultural ones with which a programme fight is taking place today. It is crucial to specify who man is, not “what kind of man there is today.”

Mec. Jerzy Kwasniewski, president of the Ordo Iuris Institute, pointed out that through no referendum or any ratified agreement, Poland has not renounced sovereignty in the field of education, but subsequent governments through dozens of actual actions, adopted global recommendations of standards, trainings, backing allowed to interfere increasingly in the Polish education strategy and made Poland not sovereign in the area of education. The counselor spoke of the rule of subsidiarity, highlighting the precedence of parents in raising children and the request for the diversity of educational institutions that they can choose. In the context of the planned mandatory subject matter, wellness education has encouraged civilian disobedience.

During the discussion he took the floor, among others. Waldemar Jakubowski, president of the Education and Education Section of the NSZZ “Solidarity”, saying that the blame for the current state of the Polish school falls on the full elite not only political but besides social Poland. He said that we function in cognitive and organizational chaos, regretting that there was never a real strategy for the improvement of education. He besides criticized the postgraduate profile project. He talked about the demolition of investigation institutes and the European Educational Area.
