Poland after the presidential election

First and foremost: we defended Poland against the full power of Donald Tusk and the company. The full power of these people would be a nightmare. For a year and a half they showed that they didn't substance to anyone and nothing, with any rules, institutions, rules, promises, anything. If they inactive had their man as president, there would be absolutely no barrier to their madness.

They were expected to reconstruct the regulation of law and regulation with respect to the regulation of law, with the power to take over institutions and with “a democracy specified as we realize it.” They were to explain the alleged large scams, and they made mining detentions, from which nothing follows but further media service materials—the same ones that don't care if the current power does cons. There was to be transparency and reliability, and there is manual control of inflation rates and a way to calculate the VAT gap. It was not expected to be comotorism and nepotism, and public institutions are filled with their own, frequently grotesquely mediocre ones. The Ministry of Culture's grant competition for tiny magazines was aimed at magazines of various options, including anti-scripts, and presently no 1 to critically justice the PO governments – the grant has lost us and many others.

Secondly, it is not just political power. It's besides the full environment that serves them. large media, including abroad capital. Public media, biased no little than for erstwhile power, talk with 1 voice with private. In total, PO and Tuska players have about 90% of the media marketplace in Poland. These media are afraid not with looking at power but with combating opposition. And during the election run – a push for promotion of the candidate of the camp of power and nagons for his opponent.

When 1 of the fewer honest private media, Virtual Poland, has revealed an effort to turn elections utilizing an illegal online promotional campaign, financed from abroad, and coordinated by the “non-governmental organization” Action Democracy, all non-legal media, including public media, silenced the substance alternatively of taking up the subject. The same was done by people-infested Tusk institutions, including NASK to oversee network security. present we know, as Patryk Słowik from Virtual Poland writes, that "The OSCE Election reflection Mission in its first findings criticised Poland for insufficient supervision of the financing of run for Rafał Trzaskowski on the net from sources of unknown origin".

The ultimate Audit Office is mainly afraid with controlling not the present but the erstwhile power. large business favors the current power. It is besides favoured by the European Union, i.e. non-exhaustive Brussels technocracy. In addition, there are “non-governmental organisations” financed by discretionary millions abroad – all with a uniform ideological profile and close to current power.

Political power, public institutions, major media and large "organisations" talk in rule with 1 voice, differing occasionally and in tiny matters. If this environment had inactive the office of President, there would have been specified a large concentration of real power in Poland that there had not yet been in the III Poland.

Thirdly, there has not yet been an election run so ruthless, one-sided, so totally aimed at destroying a man, so brutally hitting someone, his loved ones, etc. It was not about looking at candidates' hands – only 1 candidate was seen, and the another 1 was kept under a protective box, which, with specified a disparity of media power, is simply an effort to "set" elections.

Just as PiS overtook with a negative run at Tusk in 2023, so now the Liberals overtook the cesspool poured at Nawrocki's address. People aren't stupid. They see something's wrong, it's besides much. We know many voices of people who said: if they hadn't attacked him so hard, he wouldn't have aroused my sympathy and desire to vote for him, I would have stayed at home, I'm not literate concrete, etc.

These methods, contrary to naive ideas, do not trust on things in the formulated accusations. That's not what this is all about. They trust on any another author candidate being likewise destroyed. We will say more: if erstwhile there was a strong and real antiliberal social left in Poland, it would be attacked equally fiercely and without pardon. erstwhile he has a fewer percent support and votes in favour of the emergence of the Tusk government, he can cliche left to his will. If she truly stepped on the imprint of the powerful and influential from the core of the Polish liberal oligarchy, or only in a fewer cases worked with the PiS, she would be attacked by no little venom.

A akin substance is contempt for voters. In liberal bubbles, it is said that there is nothing worse than "written glee" on minorities or migrants. But that's not the only feeling that happens. We live in an organization contempt for the poor, uneducated, with problems, with the past, with “unleavened” habits, from cities that we cannot indicate on the map. That is why Karol Nawrocki won – due to the fact that in fact the worse the candidate, the more his win will hurt the elite and alleged decent people. That was the point, not that individual is impressed by the “sutener”. “Gazeta Wyborcza” already a fewer hours after losing the Liberals sent out a newsletter with a general pronunciation of “how could this happen?”. They didn't learn anything. This is the 3rd presidential election in a row that loses an anti-PiS candidate due to the fact that precisely the same methods are used: elite, insulting, all those Agnes Holland and Holdys from under the stone who “do not realize how you can” and “what kind of man you request to be to be...”. The more they despise us, the more we vote against them.

Fourthly, however, Trzaskowski lost primarily due to the fact that specified are the scale of resentment towards liberals, the feeling of threatening their governments, the belief that they were villains and pests. Polish society truly hates Tusk. Young people and those who were good in 2007-2015 gave him assurance in 2023. Most already believe that he failed to fulfill his promises. The fact about the Platform is that she never does the promised things. Peace can be wallpapered with promises that last as long as a press conference or reading a tweet. The problem is that erstwhile specified a way of doing politics ("there is no money and what you want at all", "what harm is it to promise") was mandatory and nobody counted on anything anymore. I'm going to work for that 5 an hour. But in 2015-2016 he stopped being. There was individual at the helm who did the announced things. Differently judged, but he did. but the platform didn't handle it. She wants your vote due to the fact that she's a Platform due to the fact that she's not a PiS. She laughs at the thought of him doing anything bigger. Again, everything is “scaled”, “costy”, “unnecessary”, “unprofitable”. It will or it won't. possibly someday.

None of the polls have shown for respective months that the ruling coalition could number on the re-establishment of the parliamentary majority. After only a year and a half of government. Like the PO, it is said that in large modern cities they can put up a puppet, and she will win anyway, so on the Polish scale against liberals 1 can put up a puppet and have already more than 40% of people to support it. And the man of blood and bone who throws them a glove – the more and the more.

The rejection of liberals has a double class dimension. The apparent is the far-reaching differences among voters. Nawrocki was voted by almost 70% of workers, over 80% of farmers and almost 65% of the unemployed who went to elections. On Trzaskowski nearly 64% of people in the category of directors, managers and specialists besides won, though not so clearly, among owners and joint owners of companies. But the crack between liberals and antiliberals besides has a cultural dimension. It does not mean that right-wing voters are "dark" as liberal supporters would like. They reject the liberal cultural agenda due to the fact that they see it as harmful to themselves, forced, unrelated to their preferences. And this trend is increasingly evident besides in the Western, Modern, Non-religious, etc. countries. The same is true, for example, in the building of sighs of Polish liberals, the Czech Republic – in the secular country, populists effectively play the card, e.g. anti-immigrants, and their electoral bastions are not "refuse" the village, but industrial and post-industrial subdued large cities and urban regions.

Fifthly, the Charter of Disgrace has written down many people and left-wing, progressive, allegedly socially sensitive, “activists” from “moves” of specified or otherwise. They joined the run of neoliberals and perpetrators of Polish poorness with poverty, poured buckets of classical contempt for the countercandidate of neoliberals, voted for the neoliberals, threw distant all their erstwhile arguments about principles, values, democracies, sensitivity, etc. Their attitude and their participation will be remembered. No illusions in the future.

Sixth, we have no thought if Charles Nawrocki will be a good president. He is simply a candidate focused on right-wing identity and history, and besides small interest in the economy and social affairs and besides small cognition of them. All of this, contrary to the spells of the infertile political left, is based on relationships with the organization having the top pro-social achievements in the 3rd Poland and on contract signed with a large trade union "Solidarity" on the defence of social and labour gains. We are not absolutely certain that in these matters it will be good in the context of agreements with Mentzen and with debt to right-wing and marketplace voters. But it is simply a childish naivety to think that the public neoliberal Trzaskowski of the organization who wants to "deregulation" the economy would be better in these respects.

However, our opinions about Nawrock are not crucial. Firstly, it is the will of the people, the absolute majority, that is democracy. Secondly, any barrier in front of the Liberal monopower is better than the deficiency of specified a barrier. There's inactive time to measure this presidency. For now, we know that the roller of the neoliberal coalition did not cross 1 of the last dams in its path.
