Kuracyś warn: These sanatoriums in Poland have terrible opinions on Google

Sanatorium is simply a hope for many people to recover and to improve their well-being. However, not all turnus ends with satisfaction. As data from Google show, any spas in Poland collect exceptionally unflattering reviews. Based on public ratings and comments, portal Polsatnews.pl indicated 3 facilities that are most disappointing among the curates.

Sanatorium – a privilege, but besides expectations

Addressing a sanatorium is simply a benefit insured in the National wellness Fund (NFZ). People suffering from certain diseases can get access to spa treatment or rehabilitation. Among the most critical elements were:

  • poor sanitary conditions,
  • not adapted to patient needs rooms,
  • lack of empathy by healthcare professionals,
  • insufficient number of rehabilitation treatments,
  • and non-fresh or monotonous meals.

Three centres with worst grades

The ranking included three sanatoriumswhich, despite their advanced visibility, the lowest mean scores in patients. The names of these facilities are presented in graphic materials prepared by the editorial board. The comments can be read, among others, about the “time wasted”, “difficult local conditions” or “ignoring behaviour of staff”.

Examples of quotes from the opinions of the curates:

  • "PRL conditions. Staff is more like guards than guardians.”
  • "The treatments were irregular, any of them cancelled without giving a reason."
  • “In the area a mushroom on the wall, no hot water and a peeling carpet.”

In contrast: there are places to be told

For balance it is worth noting that Most sanatoriums in Poland enjoy good reputation and advanced level of service. The centres in Cichocine, especially the 1 at Varzelniana Street 7, which, as the earlier material indicates, is treated almost as a "lotteries prize".

  • sanatorium in Circlebrzeg (especially for people with rheumatological and cardiac problems),
  • spas in Świeradów-Zdrój (known for medicinal borovin),
  • and facilities in Porcupineswhich combine climate therapy with modern rehabilitation facilities.

Why check your reviews before leaving?

Online reviews, though subjectiveThey can be a valuable origin of information. They avoid disappointments and better prepare to leave. It is besides worth verifying:

  • average rating on Google (5 stars),
  • number of opinions – the more, the more credibility the average,
  • photos added by users,
  • and comments on the latest stays.

For sanatoriums financed by the NFZ, it is besides worth consult your doctor for treatmentwhich can aid you choose the best place to specialize the facility.

Bad reviews? respond and report

If your stay in the sanatorium importantly deviated from your expectations, especially if serious irregularities have occurredpatients are entitled to:

  • file an authoritative complaint with the sanatorium board,
  • report the substance to the National wellness Fund (if the turnus was refunded),
  • and include your opinion in public services specified as Google or the Knowndoctor.

It is worth documenting reservations by taking pictures and recording the course of events – this can be helpful in possible investigations.
