On September 3, the premiere was released by a fresh album by patriotic musician MALCHUSA – "1863". The evidence was created in tribute to his ancestor, Edward Staniewicz, the Szmiański nobleman and the January insurgent, sentenced to death by the Tsarian authorities.
"1863" is simply a musical task inspired by the longest-lasting independency in Polish history. The premiere took place on September 3, on the 160th anniversary of the conflict of Panasówka. It was 1 of the biggest winning battles of the January Uprising.

Metal bands frequently inspire the past of the mediate Ages – legends, religion, folklore – especially the Norman peoples. On this basis, they compose lyrics and give the surrounding and character of their music, creating a appropriate image. Since I am a supporter of reaching for “my own”, i.e. what is known and distant, and the past of Poland is rich in courageous projects, specified as independency spurs, the uprising which started in 1863 seemed to me an excellent subject for the musical project. The conflict to regain freedom is simply a much more attractive subject than conquest and looting centuries ago, it is besides an first idea. Malchus' discography already featured works on historical themes (War Legacy, Blood Heritage), but their pronunciation was rather general and so far no discs were released in the form of an album concept. In 2013, the Museum of Polish past in cooperation with the Library of the Historical Institute of the University of Warsaw and the Radom Digital Library developed selected books presenting the uprising from the position of its participants and witnesses. The publications collected on the Museum website facilitated access to reading on the above-mentioned topic. Written memories are an highly valuable origin of knowledge, including emotions. With this form of communication, we can learn how the characters of those events felt. The rich and colorful vocabulary utilized in late 19th and early 20th centuries in memorabilia memorabilia is reflected in the composition structure of the album.
A leading musical kind is metallic music, in which melody plays a key role.
