On February 12, Katowice police stopped a 21-year-old aggressive and agitated man who attacked another practicing man at the gym with a hammer.
The attacker turned out to be a Nigerian citizen, he heard prosecutorial allegations of attempted murder. The court applied 3 months' detention to the suspect. He was facing a life sentence.
An injured 23-year-old boy went to the infirmary for examination and then made a message on the case. However, after a psychiatric consultation, he was placed in a psychiatric ward to measure his sanity. During their stay, the experts found that at the time of the act, he was not sane because, “before entering the gym he lit weed with a hint of ketamine.”
It was so concluded that he was incapable to admit the act and direct his actions – that is, he could not deliberately commit the alleged act. The prosecutor from the territory Attorney's Office in Katowice dropped the case, and a 21-year-old foreigner from Nigeria went free.
On his social media he put a photograph of the plane and the inscription “UK”.
