The National Institute of Human Rights?

The pro-democratic progressive part of the Polish society was amazed by the decision of Prof. M. Wiąck, the Ombudsman to dismiss 1 of his deputies – Dr. Hanna Machinska. Dr. Machinska, a prominent human rights specialist, gained popularity and respect, among others, with her many interventions in cases where police stopped protesters against the violation of the regulation of law in Poland, against the rebirth of fascism or in defence of women's rights.
