Government of Tusk accelerates the roll-up of the Polish economy. This time, the Ministry of improvement and Technology, under the direction of Krzysztof Paszyk, prepares regulations on building warming. Changes, driven by alleged concern for fire safety, are intended to limit the usage of Styrofoam in insulation of buildings, for mineral wool. This will hit producers of Styrofoam, who are to a large degree Polish. In turn wool is produced – and there should be no surprise – mainly Germany.
The Ministry of improvement hits another Polish industry. The draft regulation of the Ministry of improvement and Technology on changes in fire rules is simply a blow to Polish Styrofoam producers and will lead to an increase in the cost of warming buildings.
The fresh law, imposed by the Government of Tusk, imposes a regulation on the usage of Styrofoam as thermal insulation in buildings above 3 storeys and in large-area facilities. Instead, the work to usage mineral wool is to be introduced.
As Daniel Obatek pointed out during a press conference of PiS politicians, changes will hit national Styrofoam producers. According to him, 5 global concerns, including German Knauf and Isover, are behind wool production. “These are primarily French, German, Danish companies. The biggest scandal is that they actually took part in this regulation ... persons active in these companies and institutions – he said.
The erstwhile president of Orlen estimated the value of the thermomodernisation marketplace in Poland at around PLN 10 billion. In his opinion, fresh regulations may lead to the liquidation of jobs, in about a 100 companies in Poland active in the production of Styrofoam.
The accompanying Euro MP Waldemar Bud, who served as Minister of improvement and Technology at the time of the PiS government, assessed that the changes restrict competition on the market. – There are no cases in these cases. – he said, referring to the results of lobbying abroad companies. In his opinion, the fresh requirements are intended to make an artificial request for products of western producers, with a detrimental effect on home companies. – Germany would never let it, the French would never let it. – he said.
In consequence to criticisms, the Ministry of improvement denied allegations of favoring abroad companies and one more time stated that the regulations were intended to increase fire safety. It besides utilized a propaganda slogan, indicating recent, very many fires in production halls and shops.
Let us remind that in any cases of arson, it has been proven that Ukrainians were behind them, standardly calling them "Russian agents". The Ukrainian activist, whom Andrzej Duda gave Polish citizenship, Natalia Panchenko, said recently: — Today, erstwhile all tenth Polish citizen is Ukrainian, it is very dangerous to fuel hostility between Ukrainians and Poles, especially for Poland. due to the fact that fighting, arson of shops, houses and so on will begin in Poland.
