The consequence of power is frequently arrogance, self-confidence, and disregard of opponents. All of this together is the origin of many mistakes, including those resulting in the subsequent failure of power. This besides applies to the current power, which, for any reason, seems not even capable of reflecting on the causes of the failure of power in 2015, and again makes the same mistakes.
It is, of course, hard to mention all the areas of action involved, so let us focus on the most crucial areas that can decide on the result of the current presidential elections. There is no request to be peculiarly memorable in order to know that Tusk and the political forces supporting him had attained full power the erstwhile time after the 2010 presidential and parliamentary elections were won in 2011. However, immediately after that, something began to break down and social discontent grew faster. The authority diagnosed the situation in specified a way that it considered media activities to be the origin of its problems, which were to spread information to its politicians.
As a way to do this, actions have been implemented to limit these media opportunities. I mean, above all, the ongoing, for more than 2 years (2012-2014), the fight of tv Trwam for a place on the multiplex. Power has misidentified the opponent, as tv Trwam is more confesive than social or political, and for this reason cannot constitute, and never has been, the main centre to focus political anti-government action. However, due to misdiagnosis, the refusal to grant the concession continued, resulting in an authentic and many social movement of protesters against it, and the number of letters sent calling for the concession reached 2 and a half million, which, after all, has repeatedly exceeded the number of viewers of this television. There have besides been hundreds of demonstrations and a series of protest marches, many of which have broken attendance records rated at half a million participants. Eventually, erstwhile power subsided in early 2014, a large amount of anti-government movement began to weigh politically. In the meantime, the weekly magazine “Wprost”, recordings from the Sowa restaurant, to which the government reacted by sending twice, to the editorial office of the weekly magazine, the ABW resulting in a conflict with the editor-in-chief of this magazine, and the scenes showing this were made public and harmed the government, possibly more than the eavesdropping scandal itself, the final consequence of which was the failure of presidential and later parliamentary elections in 2015.
I would not be like all of this if, besides now, there were not very akin actions of power towards the media, which are considered to be the perpetrator of the fall in support of the government. Recently, the WSA issued a judgement repealing the award of a multiplex broadcasting concession for tv Republic and in Poland24. Many have found this sentence, which is not valid yet, unjust, scandalous and illegal. In my opinion, it is certain that its political effects will be mourned for power. Even in Turkey, a country widely regarded as authoritarian, it does not apply specified repression as full exclusion, related to opposition, tv stations. So far, both of these stations have frequently competed with each another and spared no pinches, and the leadership of tv Republic has even attempted to interfere in fractional games for a political position in the PiS party, frequently against the will of the current president of this party. Today, in the face of the threat of liquidation, these disputes become irrelevant, and all energy, and this repeated determination, will be directed towards fighting against the PO, especially Tusk, Trzaskowski and Bodnar. This situation is mostly analogous to the 1 from 2012-2014, erstwhile concessions for the tv Trwam were stubbornly denied, which generated a movement of opposition, where interior disagreements in the opposition, which were not lacking at the time, were silenced in order to focus all forces to fight the government of Donald Tusk and then Ewa Kopacz. I now feel full of déjà vu, and the final political effect may be akin to that.
Already today, especially after the debates in Koński, it can be concluded that the PO candidate, in the form of the Vice-President of this organization Rafał Trzaskowski, is in fact much weaker than it previously seemed erstwhile friendly media and polling centres gave him a certain victory. I see a deficiency of rhetorical efficiency as well as mediocre opposition to the punches of competitors in the debate. announcement that in this second debate there were 4 participants in Koński connected, in any way, with the forces forming the current coalition, 2 of the opposition, 1 independent but harshly reviewed government (Mr Stanowski), and, acting as specified "Black People", Mr Maciak, whom, possibly rightly, is attributed, to a thing now absolutely terrible, or sympathy with Putin and Orban, which set him in equal distance with Trzaskowski and Nawrocki.
In specified an environment, Rafał Trzaskowski should be doing well, as he actually had even a small more participants in the debate than Karol Nawrocki. However, he did not cope with this situation and although it could not be said that he was knocked out, it was, especially at the end, apparent that he was barely standing up. Karol Nawrocki presented himself, in my opinion, better than him and was even more rhetorical. This difference was so apparent that Trzaskowski himself did not bring any objections to the win, and then called even to "forget it". any point out that Simon Holovnia did well in this debate. 1 can only agree on this if 1 considers that the option for him was not to participate in this debate, which would already be a clear failure to him. For me, the rhetoric presented by Holovna was very funny, that I would only quote this phrase, where he called out: “The model of Polish energy must be based on the “Polish Sun, the “Polish Wind” (...)”. Really, I have lived many years, but I heard about the “Polish Sun” for the first time. This kind would be good in cabaret, but not as a presentation of a candidate for the office of president of Poland. And his detailed questions about any numbers and surnames, which brings to head the lyrics from the series "Rancho".
It can now be seen that after this debate Trzaskowski is in a very uncomfortable situation and will feel even more emotional pressure, which is besides due to the fact that he had already lost the presidential election 5 years ago. And this is simply a serious burden that can straight paralyze little resilient individuals. According to the past of the 3rd Polish presidential election, it has not yet happened to be won by individual who competed before and was not successful at the time. Only those who fought for re-election (Duda, Kwaśniewski) were re-elected, however, excluding those who were more exposed to people (Wałęsa, Komorowski). This principle, which could be translated as follows: erstwhile the loser – always the loser, seems to be known by the 2 biggest politicians, Jarosław Kaczyński and Donald Tusk. They both only competed erstwhile in the presidential election; they were not successful and no of them did a second attempt. And Trzaskowski ignored the rule, and it's most likely not going to do him any good.
