Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki gave identical answers to 8 out of 20 questions in the Electoral Lantern survey, which means that their views are 40 percent consistent. More than half of Nawrocki's consequence coincides with Sławomir Mentzen's views.

12 electoral committees responded to the questions of the Electoral Lantern, which allows comparison of the views of Poles with declarations of candidates moving in the presidential election. Only Krzysztof Stanowski failed to complete the survey.

The president of the Centre for Civic Education Dr. Jędrzej Witkowski told PAP that Latarnik was created on the basis of declarations of candidates or their electoral staffs. – We ask circumstantial questions and get circumstantial answers – he noted.

The responses of the electoral committees show that Rafał Trzaskowski (Citizen's Coalition) and second-placed in the polls Karol Nawrocki (supported by the Law and Justice) agree in 40%. For example, they both believe that "The European Union should have little impact on Polish interior policy" and "immigrants trying to cross the Polish border illegally should be sent back".

In their view, ‘the state should build low-cost housing for rent’ and ‘health education should not be a school subject’. Both do not agree that "all vaccinations are voluntary". They besides allegedly defend "freedom of word on the Internet, considering it more crucial than preventing misinformation".

Nawrocki and Trzaskowski besides agree on any economical issues. The cost of loans, in their opinion, should be reduced, even if this could increase inflation, and "800+ benefit should be limited only to people working in Poland from Ukraine".

In 3rd place, Sławomir Mentzen, a Confederate candidate, ranks in the polls. More than half of his answers (55%) are the same as those of Karol Nawrocki. Politicians disagree in "reduction of the wellness contribution for entrepreneurs" (Mentzen wants to reduce it), "taxing respective property owners' cadasters" (Nawrocki supports this solution) and "state housing for rent", to which Mentzen disagrees. Mentzen besides opposes the ‘lowering of credit costs’. Otherwise, they besides approach mandatory vaccinations – Nawrocki is opposed to making them voluntary.

Left and right agree in 35% Biejat, Zandberg and Nawrocks want to introduce cadastral taxation and are opposed to reducing the wellness premium for entrepreneurs. Both Biejat and Nawrocki request a simplification in credit costs. The Left and Marek Jakubiak consider that "vaccinations should be compulsory" and "health education should be introduced into schools". Mentzen, like the left, does not want "all Poles undergo mandatory military training".

On the far right Mentzen, Grzegorz Braun and Jakubiak mostly answered the same questions. They were divided by the issue of military training for men, reducing the cost of credit, vaccination and wellness education, as well as "recognizing all erstwhile appointments of judges as legal, regardless of the dispute surrounding their appointment" - Braun doesn't agree to that.

Two questions have overcome the vast majority of candidates. As many as 10 (only Marek Woch and Nawrocki did not have an opinion) want to "tax digital giants operating online aimed at Polish users". 9 people agree to send migrants across borders – with opposition from the left.

Observing the Center for Civic Education shows that more and more people want to usage the Electoral Lantern. Since 2005, it has already benefited 15 million people. In the latest edition, launched on April 24, almost 1 million users have utilized it.

Shortly after the publication of the fresh Lantern on the X portal, there were allegations that a candidate supported by the Law and Justice had been assigned ‘no opinion’, even though the answers clearly indicated that he agreed with the question or not. This included answers to 4 questions.

Michał Tragarz, the chief expert of the Centre for Civic Education, told PAP that this was not true: Indeed, in the case of Karol Nawrocki, the comment on the answer may indicate that the candidate has an opinion on the issue, but the indicated answer was "I have no opinion". Tragarz added that Latarnik contacted Nawrocki's staff and received confirmation that there was no mistake.
