The presidential candidate Dr. Karol Nawrocki believes that Poland should build a atomic power plant. He adds that until it was created, we should usage Polish coal resources, not giving up its extraction.
"Until the start of atomic power plants, Poland should mine coal," said Dr. Karol Nawrocki during a Sunday gathering with Konin residents. According to a candidate for president supported by the Law and Justice, the increased level of investment will counter depopulation.
"Until there is no atom, we must abandon this reasoning that makes us extinguish the next coal blocks," Nawrocki stated in Konin. In his opinion, there are no shortages of specialists in Poland who can reduce the emanation of specified installations.
The candidate for president of Poland stated that renewable energy sources are besides needed, but only where they are "socially acceptable". "We cannot put farmers on their farms, where they want to grow and where they want to grow, we cannot put these windmills in memorial places and in places that are not socially acceptable," he said.
In his opinion, the increased level of investment will increase the number of jobs and aid young people, especially in places like Konin. He recalled that the city loses about a 1000 inhabitants a year. Karol Nawrocki pointed out that he was not a supporter of illegal immigration. He added that specified a form of migration would in no way solve the problem of depopulation in smaller cities and towns.
Nawrocki added that his proposal is the program “Back home Poland”, that is, bringing Poles surviving abroad to the country.
