We live in a time where the values that built our civilization are not only criticized. This would not be so dangerous, due to the fact that there are concrete arguments for constructive (or absurd) criticism. It is highly dangerous to mock and mock the principles that have built (still) a safe place where we live.
The current tactics of neoliberal environments match the esbek art of human conflict with “enemies of the people”. The methods of mocking and making lunatics out of their opponents have now gone into a higher phase. Today, the full strategy of values that our ancestors believed in is being ridiculed and gave a signpost on how to do so as not to get lost.
This is where we get extremist consumerism promoted especially among young people. This creates dozens of problems. However, I would like to focus on 1 of them, namely the question of vocations to competitions and the broadly understood passion to execute them.
Today, it is little and little frequent to go to work due to the fact that it feels a moral work and a willingness to do it. Teachers, doctors, soldiers, police officers, sports politicians and you can exchange more. This competition attracts volunteers not due to the fact that individual feels the talent to execute activities within a circumstantial activity. They attract social security, earnings, accessibility to vacant positions or deficiency of an thought for themselves. Alternatively, nepotism selects a circumstantial career path.
Unfortunately, the crisis besides prevails in the Catholic Church. There are less and less calls for priestly service, and there are fewer volunteers for clergy seminars all year.
It is promoted to think that the life that is devoted to God is wasted due to the fact that specified a man bypasses everything that is “great” in being temporal.
The call to become a parent is besides shamelessly attacked. At all step you can see that having children is considered a problem in career and comfortable life, and couples who have more than 3 children are considered pathological. The problem of parenting is inactive fueled by antagonizing women and men. What is worse – it is usually done by ignorant and average people, not by officers paid to destabilize our culture. It is known – divide et impera.
It is worth noting that in the Western world, among alleged celebrities there are individual individuals who do not agree with the current trends, which I am writing about above. Just mention Mel Gibson or Jeremy Irons. The former, being a declared Catholic, began to talk out loud about Hollywood being corrupted. Interestingly, his movie "Passion" was considered... anti-Semitic. Another minute and the fresh Testament will be declared to be aimed at a nation that cannot be mentioned otherwise than they wish. Jeremy Irons, on the another hand, only praised, I will emphasize – praised the Catholic Church for its anti-abortion attitude. Their media did not leave a dry thread on him, but only expressed his opinion. In another interviews, he mentioned that “abortion destroys a woman”. That's a fact, not an opinion. due to the fact that the actor stood up for the values he believed in, they began to call him controversial and, of course, mock at the 70th Berlin movie Festival, where he was a judge. The actor was partially defended by the artistic manager of the festival, who replied that those statements were out of context and are no longer up to date. It's called a compromise. Interestingly, Irons is not a individual who is someway peculiarly connected to the church. As he himself recalls, he sometimes attends services. But his children and wife are full practicing Catholics.
So, I don't think his worldview will change after criticism of the media. It is simply a simple intimidation of society and others seeing social ostracism do not want to get ahead. Simple sociology – since individual known, rich and popular can be confused with mud is simply a simple man.
This is no longer the time of Simon Słupnik, who repented for 30 years on a advanced platform and lived in a full ascetic. There are no more martyrs in Europe who could give their lives for their faith. Today, the martyr is the 1 who... says the word. A word that's against the standards.
We let ourselves be told that without worldly possessions our lives are empty, tiny and meaningless. What matters is the trivial things that are fleeting. specified reasoning determines fear that paralyzes healthy action. Acting in fear, the rational approach goes to the another side, people get lost and do not follow the heart, due to the fact that these are suppressed in many ways.
In his letter to the Church in Laodicea, the Revelation of John says: “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. You better be cold or hot! And yes, since you are summertime and neither hot nor cold, I want you out of my mouth.” So, if we can't stand up for our faith, which is our shield, we're vulnerable.
At first there was a word. Logos. Therefore, the word should be started.
