The main problem of liberal democracy in Poland from the beginning is undemocratic liberalism. The Polish Liberal is willing to give his life for democracy at least, but in practice he does not like it.
In the election, a random, immature society votes. Which doesn't necessarily want to vote for Autorites. Fear to think, possibly he'll even choice any Populist Reaper?
Ryngraf for Pinochet will shame Tomasz Wołk and Miszek Kamiński forever. But it wasn't an isolated episode at the time. Pinochet as a light dictator, who may and may have utilized harsh methods, but at least besides privatized and deregulated, worshiped many at the time – Cezary Michalski, Marek Jurek, Jan Wróbel, Grzegorz Górny.
Some of these people present are for the Law and Justice, any for the Law and Justice. But it was a common problem of the PO-PiSu (which I personally reject as specified from the beginning).
The basic axiom of a democratic state is that it is simply a community which citizens set up in their own interests. "We the People, in Order to establish Justice, home Tranquility, common defence, general Welfare, and Blessings of Liberty, to establish this Constitution".
I shortened the preamble to the U.S. Constitution a bit, but even without these abbreviations it is unambiguous in its pronunciation. Unlike the Polish preamble – "we, the Polish political class, acting in the interests of public lobbyists, and drawing gross from another sources ...".
This is not a problem that started only during the regulation of the Law and Justice. Since the Citizens' Committee at Lech Wales won the 1989 election to halt being a Citizens' Committee after a fewer months and to abandon the winning election programme (in which there was nothing about Balcerowicz's plan, on the contrary, his early version was introduced by the Rakowski government as Wilczek-Secular's plan) – we do not know who and what our country is doing.
If we were to collect statements from Polish journalists, including those who are now standing behind Matthew, this version would come out. The state should not service the public, due to the fact that it is populism. That's all we know.
Who? It's a mystery. To what? You don't know either. All we know is what to do.
In particular, it is not to educate, not to build, not to care, not to transport, not to service and not to treat. due to the fact that all this is better done by the Invisible marketplace Hand.
The state should be cheap. And employment as fewer officials as possible. We've heard it many times, haven't we? From TVN, from TOK FM, from “Gazeta Wyborcza”, from Polish Radio, from TVP (when the second were in the hands of the Authors).
Today's opponents of Kaczyński made PiS propaganda so effective. For what is the logical conclusion from the imagination of a "state minimum"?
The cheapest country is where the warden keeps it all to himself. These balances of authorities, local governments, independent judiciary, autonomous universities – are primarily costly.
People of fresh power are the pushers of Kaczyński. We laughter at them by chanting the “marion” at the sight of Duda, Szydło, or Kuchciński. Right, due to the fact that they're puppets.
But that is what the supporters of “good change” like. They do not want well-paid independent professionals in power, due to the fact that they have been put into head the perfect of a inexpensive state, which is primarily to “do not disturb”.
A year has passed, and the opposition inactive has no public to offer, but "to be as before." That's why the PiS doesn't decision in the polls.
My advice is, in fact, trivial. Search for specified an offer, not another “charismatic leader”.
