Global Order of Satan, a parade of equality and ape religion

pch24.pl 2 weeks ago

The Global Order of Satan is simply a group that was established a fewer years ago and supported, and besides participated in the Saturday, Warsaw equality parade with the participation of the fresh Polish presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski. Its representatives say they are fighting for autonomy and self-fulfillment. They do not want dogmatic religions and declare their desire to free themselves from their limitations. At the same time, they claim that their confession is... religion. They address their message to young people.

On 15 July 2024, the Polish branch of the organization published a message on its website entitled "Grzegorz Braun vs. Global Order of Satan Poland". This was a mention to the incidental of December 12, 2023. According to them, "There was a scandalous incidental on the corridors of the Polish Sejm, which was an example of utmost discrimination and deficiency of respect for freedom of conscience and religion".

“At the time of the ceremonial Chanukivitis, Grzegorz Braun extinguished them with a fire extinguisher” and “just after the incidental Braun gave an interview to the tabloid Super Express, justifying his action by claiming that The act that took place in the Sejm is simply a spiritual act, profoundly satanic and It would be his profanity to tolerate and ignore Satanism. Therefore, in the belief of the Global Order of Satan, Braun's actions were not only anti-Semitic but besides anti-Satanistic, and for this reason 1 associate of our community made a announcement of a legitimate suspicion of a crime being committed to the prosecutor's office, pointing to a violation of Article 196 of the Criminal Code (the alleged images of spiritual feelings) to the detriment of 1 of us."

The group further explained that "Global Order of Satan is an global Satanist spiritual organization founded in the UK in 2019 and has been operating in Poland since 2020". Its mission is officially "to make a more just planet based on rationalism, to build communities of people sharing common values and objectives, and to advance (...) convictions through educational and socio-political activities".

It was stressed that "Satanism is simply a religion that celebrates diversity, fights prejudice and spiritual fanaticism". At the same time, it was noted that "they do not believe in supernatural beings." For them, "Satan is not treated as a deity, but as a symbol of individual freedom, rebellion against tyranny, against authoritative structures and dogmas." Hence, they focus on "educational activities and social activism utilizing provocative Satanist symbolism to emphasize the importance of fighting for freedom of speech and religion".

Mr Braun insulted spiritual sentiments... Global Order of Satan

By accusing Mr Braun, the organization cited Article 196 of the Criminal Code, which protects spiritual feelings: “He who offends another people's spiritual feelings, insulting publically the object of spiritual worship or the place to execute spiritual rites, is subject to fines, imprisonment or imprisonment until the age of 2”.

It was stressed that "this provision protects the freedom of conscience and religion that belongs to everyone, including the members of our community."

It was pointed out that the state's concern is not limited to spiritual unions, but besides to "every spiritual feeling", including the feelings of members of their organization "should be adequately protected", regardless of the fact that there is no formal designation of the Global Order of Satan as a religion in the Polish legal order.

In this regard, it was referred to as the ‘own explanation of Article 196 of the Criminal Code’, which would indicate that ‘religious sentiments as specified are not the same as the concept of ‘feeling a spiritual religious spiritual union or a church with a regulated legal situation’. It was explained that "this provision does not contain specified restrictions" and so "on the basis of Article 196 of the Penal Code is penalized by insulting the spiritual feelings of all believer, with the question of assessing what a given religion is not related to the registration of a spiritual union in Poland. We besides claim that the deficiency of designation of the Global Order of Satan as a religion in the Polish legal order does not mean that we do not have the same criminal protection for members of spiritual unions with regulated legal status. Moreover, based on the many definitions of religions available, we say that we must be absolutely qualified as a spiritual movement, so that the spiritual feelings of individual members of our community may be protected under Article 196 of the Criminal Code."

At the same time, it has been reserved that the organisation aims to remove Article 196 k.k. from the Criminal Code, as it "infringes fundamental principles of freedom, equality and tries to defend completely abstract values", but "until this provision exists", "they intend to benefit fully".

Eventually, the group called for the prosecution of Grzegorz Braun due to “unquestionably violating the spiritual feelings of the members of their community” and due to “the act of public insult to the subject of spiritual worship”.

The justification for the position referred to the fact that "lights can be utilized ceremonially as a symbol of enlightenment and illumination of the darkness of ignorance, as well as as as as a tool for meditation and the creation of an atmosphere of reflection." In addition, it was pointed out that ‘a lit candle can besides symbolize Lucifer (from Latin bearing light)’. Moreover, "the ritual of candlelight is common in the Global Order of Satan and in many another Satanist organizations", and "taking into account the importance of Hanukkah in the judaic tradition, the usage of Khanuk candles by members of the Global Order of Satan in ritual candlelight could service as a strong and multi-faceted symbol that would be a bridge connecting ancient traditions with modern conflict for spiritual freedom and intercultural solidarity. It would be an act announcing a deeper dialog on freedom, past and courage towards oppression – as crucial and inspiring to the Satanists of the Global Order of Satan as it is to all who value these universal values. The usage of a fire extinguisher during specified a ritual should be clearly assessed as an insult to a spiritual object.”

Crossing the public debate framework and the anti-Satanist hatred crime

The meaning of the Khanu candles was further discussed and the behaviour of Grzegorz Braun, who was denied rights – for which Satanists themselves claim to be fighting with the Global Order of Satan. It is about freedom of expression, due to the fact that the authors of the letter felt that "it had crossed an acceptable framework for public debate". "Anti-Satanist hatred crimes" were to be committed, and "as the established case law of the European Court of Human Rights shows, that its action – the usage of a fire extinguisher against candles – is seen as a direct call for spiritual violence, as specified is besides of an unwarranted and thus unproductive nature, which consequently means that it exceeds the protected under Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedom of Expression and full justifies the interference of public authorities, in this case criminal law".

In fact, this message itself seems to be adequate as a comment on what an organization has late been established. It became “famous” by supporting Saturday's demoralizing parade promoted by the Warsaw authorities and any parliamentarians. 1 of them was MP Michał Szczerba from KO, who inactive welcomed a delegation of representatives of Kneset (Christian Zionists from Knesset Christian Allies Caucus) and the planet judaic legislature in the Parliament in 2015 in order to “celitate the inauguration of the Polish parliamentary Israel Allies Caucus in the Polish parliament” to advance Christian values and “diplomacy based on faith”.

Today, the Global Order of Satan has gained more fame than when, on the 1 hand, a fewer years ago, it supported the insulting of Catholics' spiritual feelings, supporting the Women's Strike and the Black Patho-Marshes in defence of abortion, or erstwhile it appeared against the extinguishing of the "chanuk world" by Mr Braun. On this occasion, she demanded that he be expelled from the organization and even disposed of from public life. A year ago, the Global Order of Satan expressed its fear that Brauna supported hundreds of thousands of people, which could "beget legitimate fear of the direction our society is heading."

The organization that "stands for truth, justice, equality and freedom", "calls for intercultural dialogue, respect for diversity and equal treatment of all religions", demanded that the Polish authorities take "strong action to hold Grzegorz Braun accountable".

The trend of the world’s paganism

The emergence of fresh Satanist and another pagan groups is not fresh or surprising. In order to organize any information, let us add that in the 20th century various fresh Satanist religions or secular religions have become popular, as they frequently specify themselves. Modern Satanists can be divided into 2 camps: atheists or rationalists, for whom Satan/Lucifer is to be a symbol of the “values” they want to defend, and groups who perceive Satan/Lucifer as the essence they want to worship.

The spread of spiritual satanism was to foster the affirmative assessments of Satan included in the works of romanticist writers and artists from the early 19th century, e.g. Percy Bysshe Shelley, Lord Byron and Victor Hugo. Satan was portrayed as a heroic rebel questioning arbitrary power. For this reason, it is accepted as a symbol by leftist and anti-clerical groups or by any stone musicians. spiritual groups were besides formed that actively worshipped the demon in the first half of the 20th century, although they were always tiny and marginal, even in occult circles.

The main form of modern spiritual satanism was the Church of Satan, founded in San Francisco by Anton LaVey in 1966. He promoted his ideas through books, in peculiar "The Satanic Bible" (1969). LaVey, a formal “atheist”, portrayed Satan as a symbol of the animal nature of mankind. He accepted any supernatural ideas, believed in magic. He remained under the strong influence of libertarianism. Satanists considered the “elite” separate from the “stock” of average humanity.

An alternate explanation of spiritual Satanism was proposed by Satanic Temple (TST), besides founded in the United States in 2012, which convinces that Satan does not exist. It rejects LaVey's libertarian views on left-wing progress. TST fights primarily for access to abortion, the same-sex pato-marriage and fights the "hegemonic function of Christianity" in society. Its members say that they place emphasis on the "autonomy of the body" and "acceptance of compassion, empathy and reason." Their rituals are to be an expression of rebellion against “unrighteous authority”.

There are Satanists who believe in Satan and worship him. An example is the Temple of Seta, created by Michael Aquino and another erstwhile members of the LaVey Church in 1975. All these currents mention to paganism. any commit criminal activities, specified as the Order of 9 Angles, which was created in Britain in the 1970s.

"Self-realization" and the popularity of Satanist organizations

Two years ago the British media went on to compose more about the phenomenon of greater engagement of young people in the activities of Satanist organizations on issues specified as sex ideology and abortion.

Young people are to be disappointed by “obsolete” and “dogmatic” conventional religions, thus choosing “alternative” for “rigid” lost beliefs.

For example, the Sunday Telegraph spoke to leaders and members of Satanist groups around the world. They stressed that Satanism created an attractive offer for people to engage in activism and run for sex and the fight for alleged women's rights. This is attractive to younger members, especially those who are increasingly declaring themselves as Christians.

Among another things, there was a conversation with “Kapelan Leopold”, a 32-year-old London ceremony entrepreneur who co-hosts the Global Order of Satan UK. He praised the "200 percent increase in the number of members over the last 5 years".

"I want I could say that we could pat each another on the back and say, yes, we did our hell work here and we are effectively reducing the number of Christians, but I think it is simply a much more complex problem," he said in 2023. He pointed out that the improvement of his organization was encouraged by the decreasing popularity of "traditional dogmatic religions", as well as "the movement towards self-identification and self-fulfillment".

"This applies especially to young people who do not want to be part of the prescriptive dogmatic religion, but alternatively want to identify with their own beliefs and self-fulfillment – and that is what Satanism offers. That is why we frequently say that we are a religion for those who dislike the oppression of erstwhile religions" – you can read on the regular Telegraph page.

"Capelan Leopold" added that many young people are "turning distant from what is now incredibly outdated: clearly rigid views that do not fit at all in modern times", especially on issues specified as sexuality and "sexual identity".

Thus, we observe the phenomenon of paganism in the world. fresh Age cults are spreading.

Some researchers effort to explain this phenomenon, pointing to the “social attractiveness” of fresh religions. For example, Dr. David Robertson, elder lecturer in spiritual studies at Open University believes that "the attractiveness of many fresh religions, including Satanism, is that they propose a form of religion that straight refers to social issues that are more crucial to young people." In addition, "they offer an chance to actively challenge the law".

Professor Linda Woodhead, Head of the Department of Theology and spiritual Studies at King’s College London suggests that we are presently dealing not only with the spread of Satanism, but "a larger phenomenon (...) of the incredible diversification of the spiritual and spiritual landscape". It's just that everyone can build their own religion, and the net makes it easier. "There are presently many lonely explorations, especially on the Internet, and you can find anything that fits your identity, interests, values or beliefs," says prof. Woodhead.

Diarmaid MacCulloch, a retired prof. of church past at Oxford University, believes that people disappointed with another religions who “can only know them superficially” “are seeking a belief strategy to make their own, due to the fact that our society encourages individual consumer choices and exploration.”

People form ‘me’ religions, believing that individuals must specify their own moral code and make as deities.

"Capelan Leopold" from the Global Order of Satan points out that they give themselves up to rituals that are meant to cement social ties and let them to make "their own individual imagination of themselves as Satan". So there is dressing up in certain garments, lighting candles, and welcoming Satan, as well as many another things. This “rural space” favourite by members of the group is “a form of mindfulness, a form of self-fulfillment” and confirmation of “prisons as people”.

However this may be explained, the fact is that all pagan practices, not to say Satanist, are not indifferent to intellectual development, not to mention the spiritual improvement of a person.

Again, he is deceived by young practices, which are not truly intended to harm them deeply, but, contrary to what they think, they will neither express their rebellion against “the oppressive power” nor bring them the desired freedom. The created Satanist groups are highly politicized and are utilized by globalists wanting to subdue humanity to their pantheistic agenda. By focusing on “self-fulfillment”, these young people will simply have no thought what is happening around them and will very rapidly be enslaved by “the oppressive power” from which they want to free themselves.
