The 16th Freedom Right Conference. organised by the advanced Time community, it became an excuse for another installment of Tusko-Bodnarian censorship. The National Institute of Culture and agrarian Heritage stated the hall in which it was to be held. The case was described by the curious portal itself.

Freedom Right Conference censored. "National Institute of Culture and agrarian Heritage, owner of the Agricultural Library told us 2 hours ago the hall in which the XVI Conference of the Right of Freedom is to be held" – said Tomasz Sommer, editor-in-chief of the ultimate Time.

"The termination was signed by Mr. Elżbieta Osińska-Kassa, Director, citing that our conference "brings on the good image of the Renter" due to the presence of 1 of the presidential candidates, Grzegorz Braun. I call on Mr Osińska-Kassa to change this decision, as she puts the Institute at hazard for damages and herself for criminal liability." Sommer continued.

Meanwhile, the hall's owners responded to the charges they had made, claiming that he was doing so due to his good image. The reason for the speech is to participate in the event of Grzegorz Braun.

“Activating on behalf of the National Institute of Culture and agrarian Heritage with its registered office in Warsaw (hereinafter: Institute), hereby on the basis of §6 of the lease agreement No 3.N.2025.NIKIDW of 3 February 2025 (hereinafter: Agreement), departs from the Agreement in its entirety, given that the nature of the Undertaking violates the good image of the Institute.” – reads a letter sent to the organizers.

Moreover, the insolent Institute, which itself breaks the contract, demands payment of the contractual punishment (sic!). “On the basis of §6 of the Agreement, I call for the payment of a contractual punishment of half the rent, i.e. PLN 12 145,00 (say: 12 1000 100 and forty-five zlotys) within 14 days of receipt of this letter for the following bank account of the Institute” – added.

The justification indicated that the problem was the performance of Grzegorz Braun and the lead. "It should be stressed that the organisation of an undertaking of an unequivocally political nature, having the character of electoral agitation of a candidate for the president of the Republic of Poland is straight violating the good image of the Institute, which, as a state institution, should not engage in political activities" – read further.

OUR COMMENTS: The National Institute of Culture and agrarian Heritage knew precisely who it was offering the area to, so it is hard to believe its abrupt “surprise”. There is no uncertainty that any political force on the part of the Tusk government is involved, which does not show totalitarian, censory tendencies from now on. The authorities must have threatened the Institute with cutting off grants or another forms of funding. That, unfortunately, was enough.
