The electoral run for the Euro-Parliament starts in unexpectedly bleak circumstances. All voters request to be reminded that elections are usually made in times of peace, but during their word elected politicians may gotta face the threat of war.
Let's hope the threat turns out to be purely virtual. But I am already glad that the prime minister at the minute of danger is cold Tusk, not prone to pointless swinging Pistol Kaczyński.
However, Euro MP Protasiewicz recalled at the same time that the alleged difference between PO and PiS is the creation of political marketing. The consequence of the fact that at any point the only raison d’etre Platform was filling the vacuum left of the PiS.

Here, however, I was horrified by the tiny calibre, but crucial – Mr Szejnfeld posting on Facebook pictures of skyscrapers from Dubai as a imagination of Poland after the 3rd word of the PO. This shows that leading Platforma politicians imagine modernization in the form of third-world giants – high-rises covered by high-speed roads, and among them there is no area for outdated amusement specified as lazy trotuary walk.
Time to come up with a fresh thought for modernization. It's not about high-rises and highways anymore, due to the fact that we're about to finish building these. It's about these people wandering around with trotuars – about their quality of life, about their employment contracts, about their culture, education, entertainment, wellness and safety. I do not know if the PO will present any imagination in the 2014/2015 election.
They've already received 1 of my parliamentary votes in gratitude for the highways. The another could get paid for railroads or wellness care, but that's not what they're looking for.
If the Euro-elections were run by European parties, the elections would be so simple. The participants of this blog would hesitate between the ALDE and the Nordic Left, with the advantage of voters for socialists and democrats. A single EPP voter would be a rarog like our fresh resident duck, col. Jerzman.
However, everything is moved around. Where in the upcoming Euro-Elections to look for our favourite Softer Evil?
I respect people who, after considering everything, choose the Platform. I besides respect the SLD voters, and I'd most likely shut my nose and vote for Miller if he hadn't wasted a large chance to sit quietly lately.
As with Protasiewicz, Miller's translation of the CIA prison is even more hard to forgive than the prison itself. I could swallow a "Americans have fooled us" defence line. I cannot accept “the modern state has to torture individual from time to time”.
It's a bit of a motion of despair, but I will so vote for the Greens in the Euro elections (if they collect signatures). Their approach to atomic power and GMOs is the Meshuge, but it will not be decided in these elections.
And I know that this will most likely be the alleged "voice wasted" in the sense that the Greens will not be able to send anyone to consume mules. Yeah. But if they choice up at least 3 percent, it'll be any kind of leverage to negociate erstwhile they compose a letter of Sense Left Option in the next election.
