Many controversy has sparked 2 draft regulations of the Ministry of National Education introducing a fresh subject to schools – "health education". The programming basis for this subject covers issues strictly related to sexual education. In this respect, wellness education is intended to replace the optional current household education (WEDZ) which will cease to exist. According to the statements of the Minister of Education Barbara Nowacka, wellness education is to be compulsory. The Ordo Iuris Institute informs the case in detail.
On 31 October the Ministry of National Education published draft regulations on the website of the Government Legislative Centre, changing the programme basis for general education for primary schools (Project No 40) and for secondary schools (Project No 41).
The first thing that is controversial in the fresh subject is the fact that sexual issues are presented, not in the context of procreation and family, but as a wellness issue. The second crucial thing is the compulsory nature of this fresh sex education – unlike the current HED. It is worth noting that even those parts referred to as optional in wellness education, and concerning sexual education, will be optional for teachers teaching this subject, not for the kid or his parents. It will be the teacher who decides whether to address these topics and under what conditions. The fresh software base thus removes all existing fuses before indoctrination of children into the LGBT movement's fashion in the schools they go to. On the basis of the programming basis of this fresh subject, early sexualisation and indoctrination can be justified in accordance with the demands of the LGBT lobby and sex ideology, and parents will no longer be able to argue it.
It is besides worth noting that, erstwhile it comes to the programme basis for fresh wellness education, only sexual education content is truly new. The remainder of it already exists, but as part of the programming base of another subjects. This indicates a deliberate procedure to avoid comparisons with shockers. Sexual education standards in Europe, published in 2010 by the WHO Regional Bureau for Europe in cooperation with the German national Center for wellness Education BZgA. After all, representatives of the party, who are in the ruling coalition today, explicitly referred to these WHO guidelines as desirable for implementation in Poland in erstwhile years. They were for example MPs PO and Left in Resolution of the European Parliament of 14 November 2019 on the penalisation of sex education in Poland whether the Citizen Coalition candidate for president Rafał Trzaskowski as part of his celebrated "LGBT+ Declarations” for Warsaw, announced in early 2019. It is hard not to announcement that draft regulations of the Minister Barbara Nowacka are at least partially in line with these WHO guidelines.

Minister Nowacka said that "in specified a intellectual wellness crisis we are that I do not know how to be a ruthless man to incite the kid not to participate in an educational process that will give him basic resilience to intellectual crises too."

What do the draft regulations specifically contain by Minister Barbara Nowacka?
It is so worth knowing what the draft regulations in question specifically contain in terms of sexual education. Especially due to the fact that Barbara Nowacka's fresh “health education” is to be introduced to Polish state and private schools (including Catholic schools).
We give the following circumstantial points of the programme basis of the fresh "health education" which we believe may be of concern to teachers and parents. all specified point has been given a brief comment explaining why we feel this way.
We arranged these points in order from the youngest to oldest classes:
BASIC SCHOOLS (draft Regulation No 40)
Pupil IV-VI
- ‘Identifies changes in puberty belonging to the medical standard, including autosexual behaviour’ (p. 14, point 2).
Comment: The student may conclude that if you are not masturbating, it is beyond the medical standard (in addition, specified a phrase undermines that masturbation can be judged in moral terms).
- “Knows the rights of the kid and the obligations of parents towards the child” (p. 13, point 3).
Comment: there is no question of the child's work to parents, e.g. the work to obey. This promotes the creation of a claim attitude towards parents (it is my responsibility), undermining their authority and even blackmail attempts – “I will tell at school that parents do not fulfil their obligations towards me.”
- “Discusses household models” (p. 13, point 2).
Comment: The introduction of LGBT ideologies to the programming basis suggests that among these models there may besides be those in which children have "two mothers" or "two daddies". All in terms of normal.
- “Describes changes that may happen in families, including separation, divorce, parents entering fresh relationships” (p. 13(5)).
Comment: Requireing a grade IV-VI primary school student to be able to describe changes that may happen in families specified as separation, divorce, parents' entry into fresh relationships (point 5 of the circumstantial requirements) may origin him to lose his sense of security, stability, as well as a state of uncertainty about the possible anticipation of parting his own parents, which he might not have thought about at all. Individual intellectual and pedagogical support can be provided to children and young people who face specified hard situations.
At the same time, the presentation of specified changes as divorce, separation, entering fresh relationships, in terms of standards, undermines the privilegedness of marriage, which the Constitution of the Republic of Poland requires in Article 18 to environment with peculiar care and care, as the most desirable form of relationship, which should be characterised by stability, durability and faithfulness.
- ‘Indicates places for psychological, psychotherapeutic assistance
and psychiatric for children and adolescents including trust phones” (p. 12, paragraph 9).
Comment: There is simply a deficiency of specified apparent encouragement that if a kid has a problem, he should first talk to his parents about it. alleged trust phones are frequently run by organizations supporting LGBT lobby requests. - "She exchanges sex stereotypes and explains their negative impact on human functioning" (p. 15, paragraph 5).
Although there are certain stereotypes of sex to be criticised (e.g. that if the boy is not decently built or tall, is not manly enough), however, the deficiency of clarity about the sex stereotypes may consequence in schools beginning up to sex ideology, aimed at undermining differences between men and women or alleged gender-neutral upbringing (there are cases of encouraging students in schools to dress up as other sexes within the "day of sex change").
Such an approach may undermine affirmative male and female patterns and undermine the unchangeable process of puberty of the child, aimed at accepting self-sexuality.
Classes VII-VIII
- "It discusses the concept of psychosexual orientation and its improvement (heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, asexual); explains the concepts of sex identity, cispority, transgenderity" (p. 26, paragraph 2; nonsubjective – knowing and acceptance of changes and processes in the human body at all stages of life, building relationships based on values of health, dignity, respect and tolerance).
Commentary: All these phenomena are portrayed as the same natural, common occurrence that any young man can discover in himself. All in terms of normal. If he thinks he was born in the incorrect body, it's okay. He is simply a “transgender” individual alternatively than a “complex” individual (two “standards”). It's a substance of individual feeling that determines whether you're a boy or a girl. If there's anything else, there'll be doctors who can adjust the body to the psyche. It is besides worth noting that the word "complexity" is straight part of the fresh sex ideology and should not be utilized in the Polish government regulation.

Comment: another criteria for assessing MEN sexual behaviour do not mention. Conscious, mutual, situational consent is according to MEN the only criterion for assessing sexual activity. If there is specified an agreement, sexual activity is good (acceptable), if there is no specified consent, then sex is bad (unacceptable). The logical consequence of specified a position is to recognise as good any sexual behavior, if they are taken with the consent of the parties (e.g. masturbation, casual sex, early sexual initiation, homosexual activity, bisexual activity, sadomasochistic sex, etc.). The long-term logical consequence of assuming a situational informed consent as a criterion for assessing sexual activity is the weakening of natural barriers in children and adolescents against sexual intercourse with adults (pedophilia) or prostitution (sexual activity at a charge).
- ‘Characterises methods of contraception, e.g. mechanical, hormonal, chemical’ (p. 27, paragraph 4).
Comment: There is no incentive not to undertake sexual initiation at an early age, alternatively wide information on available conceptual measures, including pharmacological ones, which poses a hazard of buying specified measures (not necessarily in the pharmacy), which are of no concern to health, without parental consent and knowledge.
INDEPENDENT Schools (draft Regulation No 41)
Class I-III student (according to the draft of the fresh framework teaching plans in the technical, advanced school and manufacture school, wellness education is to be organised 1 hr a week in 2 selected classes I and II, II and III or I and III).
Mandatory requirements
Student
- “It discusses the stages of a close, long-term relationship, including (...) romantic” (p. 43, paragraph 3).
Commentary: It is the teacher and not the parent who will decide whether, as a natural phase of a romanticist relationship, to show sexual intercourse.
Optional requirements (the content will be decided by teachers):
Student
- "He discusses legal and social issues related to belonging to LGBTQ+ group" (p. 48, paragraph 3).
Comment: The nature of this kind of content is agitate, beginning school to LGBT organizations and their materials and activities of protranssexual activists.
- "He discusses sexual pleasance and lists what affects libido; lists forms of sexual activity" (p. 47, point 1).
Commentary: This point is an incentive to take on a broad sense of sexual activity at an early age, before reaching adulthood, to experiment, to search always stronger experiences. As "various forms of sexual activity", homosexual relations, anal, oral sex and another "relationships" described, for example, on the portals of non-governmental organisations, which see their "mission" in the sexual education of young people will be presented. Sexuality is revealed as something that is primarily meant to give pleasance and satisfaction. The function of building a lasting bond and the procreative function of a sexual act are omitted. In fact, the possible of a child's conception is presented in terms of the threat to which contraceptives must be “protected”.
- “It respects the communication on the decisions of others related to family, partner and parent life, including decisions on formal, informal, separation, divorce, separation, parenting, childlessness” (p. 44(1)).
Comment: All phenomena, including the breakdown of the family, are shown in 1 row without indicating a model attitude. The deficiency of appreciation for multi-children families, the indication of the advantages of being in a unchangeable marriage, is anti-pedagogical, and in a time of demographic crisis and a crucial number of divorces, may further exacerbate these phenomena.
What does it all mean and what can we do?
We are not dealing with education, but with education – both in the moral and moral sphere in the context of sexuality. The message received in specified activities can affect the future decision-making of life students, specified as getting married or giving up matrimony and remaining in an informal relationship, shown as equally valuable. In addition, alternatively of single-number sexuality, we will talk about sexuality, where all kind of sexuality, if practiced without coercion, is just as good.
In the “conditions and manner of implementation” of the content of wellness education, it is clearly indicated: “The teacher in this process acts as a guide and mentor who cooperates with students, supports them in shaping attitudes, values”. We are so dealing with a strict entry into the area of education where parents should have priority. The compulsoryness of these classes will make a kid in school able to receive different messages than at home. This so violates the constitutional rule of parenting precedence and undermines their authority. That's surely not good for the baby.
That's why it's worth signing petition “Stop forced and anti-family sex education at school!” and come to "Yes for Education, No for Depravity" protest 1 December at 12:00 at the Castle Square in Warsaw.
