Why do prisoners vote for PO and Trzaskowski in bulk? A fewer days ago, the State Election Commission announced the full results of the presidential election with 100 percent of the voting circuits. Rafał Trzaskowski won the elections in all Criminal Plants in Poland, usually with a crushing advantage. For example, in the Correctional Institution in Wronki he won 79.1% of the votes, while Karol Nawrocki only 3.9%. In turn, 65.5 percent of the voters voted for Trzaskowski in Iława Karny Plant, and 8.4 percent voted for Nawrocki. Why specified a disproportion?

The thought was that the prisoners would cover the cost of their electricity and thus pay at least part of the costs incurred by society for their imprisonment. It was then established that this would be the amount of PLN 15 charged to all individual in the cell in which specified equipment is located.
Meanwhile, the Tusk government plans to bow to the inmates and abolish this fee. The case was described in February by “Rzeczpospolita”. The "Service in Action" profile verified this information by writing to the Prison Service management. It turned out that the applicable bill exists – it is presently at the interministerial stage.

This is not the end of privileges due to the fact that the authorities are preparing another convenience for criminals. Planned besides amending the Executive Criminal Code (K.K.W.), according to which prison sentences will be allowed to apply for any of the penalties at home.
