“A Relenting performance” – in this way, Confederate politicians comment on the consequence of the head of MON, Mariusz Błaszczak, to the German proposal to hand over Patriot rocket batteries to Poland. According to Confederates, the PiS government should accept Germany's offer, but it chose to discredit Poland internationally. Robert Winnicki even claims that specified an answer from the Polish side may have been an effort to affect Germany and NATO in the war in Ukraine. Furthermore, politicians note that the offer made can be negotiated, for example as regards the presence of German soldiers in Poland.

“Last week we witnessed an embarrassing performance of consequence to a German proposal to send 1 of Patriot rocket batteries to Poland. What Minister Błaszczak did is compromising us internationally.“ Robert Winnicki said.

“The games led by Mariusz Błaszczak under the force of Jarosław Kaczyński have nothing to do with calculated diplomacy. They're making Germany angry. This is ridiculous.”

The leader of the National Movement believes that the consequence of the Polish authorities to the transfer of Patriot batteries may have been an unsuccessful effort to affect Germans and the full NATO in the conflict in Ukraine. “The effort to pass on German anti-aircraft batteries, most likely with German soldiers, may propose that this “smart” decision by Mariusz Błaszczak and Jarosław Kaczyński, wants to provoke Germany and NATO to engage in the war on Ukraine. This is involving our country and the North Atlantic Alliance in armed action. The Confederacy says: not to drag Poland into the war.”

Patriot batteries do, but without German soldiers?

Karol Pęczek from the KORWIN organization noted that PiS could negociate a German offer, for example as regards the presence of German soldiers in Poland. “Every offer is negotiated. If the Germans hadn't cared about these batteries being passed on, they wouldn't have offered. The government can say “batteries yes”, but German soldiers in Polish territory do not.” “The government’s actions appear to be based on prejudice. The Law and Justice can’t conduct global policy.”
