Baptist University of Samford, Alabama, decided to continue DEI policy, claiming that it is part of “biblical justice”. It is not the first time that Protestants, allegedly based on the Bible, affirm their actions straight contrary to it.

Baptists vowed to proceed WOKE policy at their university. Samford University describes itself as “a diverse community, focusing on vigorous discipline and individual faith, in the Baptist tradition”, listing among its fundamental values religion in God and Jesus Christ, spiritual development, civic engagement, “honesty, integrity and justice” and “appreciating diverse cultures and beliefs”. Behind these enigmatic and affirmative slogans, however, there is support for neolysenkoism and the policy of affirmation of racial and sexual minorities.

In fresh weeks, the local news service "1819 News" has described a number of activities the school has taken after the death of the Black Lives substance George Floyd movement icon. It has introduced an action plan for “diversity” which involves the introduction of "elements of racial justice and diversity, equality and content on integration into the basic curriculum in Samford". On this basis, ritual “prejudice training” is carried out for staff, including the work to read the book “How to Be an Antiracist” and dedicated guidance for non-white students.

Among another things, the portal dealt with prof. Niya Pickett Miller, who proposed what she calls “teaching hot girls” in a faith-based environment and who believes that “many things can be learned from Megan Thee Stallion, self-determining as a “hot girl trainer”. It is about encouraging young white women to “open up” to relationships with black men. Her provocative lyrics and hypersexuality are hard to get into communication activities at a university where white believers prevail.

In addition, Miller is co-author of the course that says that she should "reject the labels of oppressors and prepare black women for uncompromising leaders and cultural trendsetters who besides deserve love and adoration. The work in this programme confronts the distortions of black women."

College Fix portal reported that in a speech to the staff last Wednesday rector Samford University, Beck Taylor condemned the news service "1819 News", calling his activity ‘TestAggravation of the atmosphere among those who believe that any mention of racism and sexism in our culture and educational institutions constitutes a violation of any fresh social agreement which magically eliminates the request for further training of students on crucial elements of our past and our current experience."

– What these people do is wicked and wrong, and no substance what intent motivates them, they will not succeed. said Taylor, adding that the University Council unanimously voted to keep the university's current leadership and its “Christian Call to Biblical Justice”. According to him, the school management "You cannot be intimidated to change your values and priorities".

1819 News upholds its criticism, stating: "For each of our articles, "1819 News" gave Samford and/or the professors mentioned in the text an chance to respond in writing. So far, the university has only published 1 message that dealt with the first article."

"1819 News aims to shed light on the current policies, curriculum and staff of Samford University, which do not conform to conventional Christian values, so that professors, parents, donors and students can make informed decisions about their cooperation with him.

OUR COMMENTS: I wonder what the Polish Baptist, the criminal Paweł Chojecki, the leader of a religious-political assembly called “The Church of the fresh Covenant” thinks about it.
