Protests and theories about falsifying elections have always existed, but what happened after this year's presidential election will be past and it will not be a glorious transition. At first, there was no indication that the results of the election could be challenged, but it turned out very rapidly that Roman Gierty took matters into his own hands and started the storm. Hysterical comments and postulates had virtually no factual basis, and more than that actual specialists claimed that insignificant irregularities with specified a large number of committees are simply inevitable due to the fact that statistic are ruthless.
In the short past of Polish democracy, it happened twice that the consequence of the elections was at least distorted. The first case occurred in 1995 and afraid Alexander Kwasniewski, who lied to voters by entering a higher education on his CV. Before all this, more than half a million protests were received at the ultimate Court and it should be remembered that this was before the era of universal net and social networking. For 30 years this evidence has been absolutely out of enlistment, and even this year, despite Roman Giertych's efforts and patterns pasted on the Internet, there have been over 50,000 protests, of which more than 90 percent are primitive copies.
The second case concerns the 2014 local elections and the unexpected consequence of PSL. There were quite a few doubts about this affair, and it was the ones with a solid basis, but yet only a fistful of protests came into the SN, and the election consequence was confirmed. Against the background of these 2 events, hysteria unleashed by politicians of the civilian Coalition looks as grotesque as "analysis" of the unhabilitated doctor Krzysztof Kontek. The Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs did not leave a dry thread on this "work" and left the protest to the Account without being recognized. In total, the SN Chamber found 21 protests to be legitimate, and after recalculation of the votes in a twelve elected committees, where there were suspected errors, irregularities were found, which, however, had no effect on the final result of the election.
The erstwhile Minister of Justice and lawyer General Adam Bodnar disagreed with this position of the SN Chamber. The first reaction was very ambitious due to the fact that the announcement came that the prosecution would number the votes in all committees, but 249 committees were yet elected and nothing groundbreaking was discovered again, on the contrary:
There was information about anomalies in election committees, the national prosecutor decided to appoint experts. Over the last fewer days, prosecutors have reviewed 250 committees. 166 committees found no discrepancies, 84 committees found irregularities. (...) The summary of all this makes it possible to conclude that Karol Nawrocki should receive 1538 votes less, and Rafał Trzaskowski should receive 1541 votes more than the authoritative results. This is due to the examination of 250 committees to be subject to hazard said PK spokesperson Przemysław Nowak.
In addition, after the audit in 42 committees, it was stated that part of Trzaskovsky's votes went to Nawrocki and that the president of the elect was injured in 34. All these irregularities, as in the case of the verification by the SN, stay unaffected by the election outcome. So ended the largest in the past of the 3rd Republic dirty run related to democratic sentences. The annex to the "falsified elections" which the prosecution has shown has the added power that it was the prosecution who challenged the resolution of the home of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs and questioned the integrity of the elections.
