Israeli authorities have given consent into an illegal settlement task that will divide the occupied West Bank and isolate East Jerusalem from it. MInister Bezalel Smotricz stated that "E1 to bury Palestinian State's idea".

The Jews approved the construction of the E1 settlement. The Higher Committee on civilian Administration Planning, a department subordinate to the Israeli Ministry of Defence, confirmed the alleged E1 project, which assumes construction of over 3400 houses between Jerusalem and the Ma’ale Adumi settlement on the occupied West Bank. The aim of the task is to divide the illegally occupied West Bank into 2 parts; to cut off cities in the north – Ramallah and Nablus – from Bethlehem and Hebron to the south and to isolate East Jerusalem.

The highly Zionist finance minister Bezalel Smotrich called the decision “historic”. This is simply a crucial step that virtually destroys the illusion of 2 states and strengthens the authority of the judaic people over the heart of the land of Israel. The Palestinian State is erased from the table not by passwords, but by deeds. all neighborhood, all neighborhood, all flat block is another nail to the coffin of this dangerous idea – he said.

According to Yedioth Ahronoth, the Subcommittee on civilian Administration Settlements besides developed a plan to build 342 further units in Asahel settlement, located between the east and western parts of Hebron Mountain.

Peace Now, an Israeli human rights defender, described the E1 housing property task as a "knockout stroke" for a two-state solution, informing that it would lead to the division of the West Bank and further isolation of East Jerusalem. Observers say that resumption of work on the task is simply a consequence to fresh statements by countries, including the UK, France and Australia, about the intention to recognise Palestine's statehood at the September UN General Assembly.

The global community, including the UN, considers Israeli settlements illegal under global law. The UN has repeatedly warned that further expansion of settlement threatens the feasibility of a two-state solution, which is considered to be a key component of the solution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict for decades.

According to the Palestinian Commission on Colonization and opposition to the Wall, Israel has built at least 710 settlements and military facilities on the occupied West Bank, or an average of 1 settlement per 8 square kilometres (3 square miles) since 1967.

The Palestinians emphasize that East Jerusalem remains the capital of their future state, citing global resolutions rejecting the city's business by Israel in 1967 and the later annexation of the city in 1980.

In an advisory opinion from July last year, The global Court of Justice found the business of Palestinian territories by Israel illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and in East Jerusalem. In response, Jews will screw up MTS with Hamas' ally and the “anti-Semitic” organization.
