Young farmers movement: prime minister simply lies

The Young Farmers Movement published a message saying:

Declaration

We, co-organizers of farmers' protest organized on 3 January 2025 in Warsaw, want to mention to the entry of the Prime Minister, Mr Donald Tusk, published on social media on the X portal.

We regret to inform you that the Prime Minister of the Polish Government manipulates facts and misses the fact in his statements. We are afraid that these actions are conscious, which means that the Prime Minister is simply lying.

Yesterday's farmers protest had clear demands, which are as follows:

• Stop Mercosur
• Stop Green Deal
• Stop import from Ukraine
• Stop destroying Polish forests and hunting
• Stop destroying the Polish economy

None of these requests afraid Poland's exit from the European Union. On the contrary, farmers have clearly indicated what kind of European Union they want as sovereigns.

We appeal:

To all sides of the political scene to halt utilizing our activities to build our own narratives and fuel divisions.Agriculture is the foundation of national safety and cannot be a field of political competition.

We are not fighting for political interests – we are fighting for survival! We, representatives of Polish farmers, We powerfully argue the usage of our protest for political games. Our demands are the voice of the Polish village, not a bargaining chip in political fights.

Our goal is to defend Polish agriculture. household farms and food safety of the country. We will not let our protest to become a tool of propaganda no substance who tries to do so.
