Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 21.08.2025):
- New Russian drone attacks on Ukraine. The alarm was lifted all over the country. The explosions were heard, among others, in Lviv, Plains and Lutsk. The German anti-aircraft strategy IRIS-T was destroyed in Odessa.
- Ukrainian boats with commandos moved across the Black Sea, towards Crimea. They were discovered and destroyed respective twelve kilometers from the shore. No 1 survived.
- A fresh Russian offensive is developing in confederate Donbasa. The village of Nowogeorgiwka and a number of fields and forests close Olchiwka were occupied. The intent of this operation is to bypass the defence of Hulaipol from the north.
- Ukrainians displace the Russians from Pokrovsk, towards Zwirov.
- In the area of Shahowe, after Ukrainian counterattacks were exhausted, Russian troops took the initiative again. Recover lost in fresh acquisition days is ongoing. Pankiwka was taken, and the fighting moved back to Volodymyrika.
- On the Kostiantinian section, Russians storm the defensive lines around Oleksandro-Sultyne.
- On the Liman section there are urban fights in Zaricín.
