Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 18.08.2025):
- Ukrainians counterattacked under Andrijiwka-Klewcowe in confederate Donbasa, regaining control of its confederate part.
- Other counterattacks took place in the center of Pokrowska and north of the agglomeration. We managed to push the Russians out of a number of positions in the city. Vilnius and fresh Chess were besides reflected.
- On the another hand, Russian forces managed to bring regular troops into the breach. Their presence has been registered, among others, in Kuczeriw Jara.
- On the Siwierski episode, the Russians yet occupied the village of Sierebrianka. They are now moving west along the river Doniec Siwierski. These actions are coordinated with attacks north, in the Sierebrian forest.
- On the Liman episode, Ukrainians are attacked under Boriwska Andrijiwka.
- The Charkowski and Sumski fronts have been inactive for respective days. It is possible that the reason for this is that in the event of the acceptance by Kiev of Russian demands, these areas are to be returned to Ukraine.
- Today will be the Zelenski-Trump gathering in Washington. – Ukrainian president Zelenski can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants, or can proceed the fight said the president of the United States a fewer hours before the talks.
