Russian-Ukrainian War (as of morning 18.05.2025):
- The Russians took control of the islands on Dniepra, just below the destroyed Kakowska Dam.
- The defence of Bohatyr village yet collapsed. Russian forces occupied the village, and the broken Ukrainian troops retreated north and west. This means that the force on close Oleksivka will begin any minute now.
- Under Pokrowski, Russian troops bombard individual fortifications and bunkers, preparing for another wave of attacks on city flanks. Point-oriented attacks bring unexpected results, in the form of expanding Ukrainian losses, mainly in personnel. The morale of soldiers who gotta hide from fire for hours is besides falling.
- Moreover, in the east of the episode, the Russians entered Ukrainian positions north of Malynivka.
- On the Kostiantini section, Russian attacks against Oleksandro-Kalyn continued.
- According to the Ukrainian side., there is simply a Russian regrouping on the Liman and merchant sections.
- As 1 could guess, Ukraine rejected Russian territorial demands.
