The independency Day encourages reflection on our statehood, the function of Poland in the planet and the state of the spirit of the Nation. Do Poles even request Poland? What is its value and purpose? What tasks – as a Nation – should we do? And what kind of Poland would our enemies want? Fr. prof. Paweł Bortkiewicz, Łukasz Warzecha, Paweł Lisicki, met. Jerzy Kwaśniewski, Prof. Marek Kornat, Prof. Jakub Polit, Prof. Mieczysław Ryba, Dr. Jakub Majewski, Andrzej Pilipiuk and Krystian Kratiuk answered these questions.

Do Poles inactive request Poland?
I'd divided the answer into two, depending on how we realize that question. The first will concern whether Poles request Poland in this sense, whether those who live in Poland present feel that they request it, or at least they do. The second will be my assessment of whether Poland is inactive needed by Poles.
In the first case, I wouldn't be so optimistic. In my opinion, the 2 main groups, which we could separate in consequence to this question, have a affirmative consequence problem. These 2 groups are first: people who, due to their views at all, do not realize what the state is for. Not only don't realize why they want you, but why are you at all? They always tend to say that Poland does not necessarily request to.
The another group are people who should theoretically realize what the state is for. These are people who have a higher state instinct, have deeper roots. Only that they in turn begin to feel that this country is becoming little and little for them and so begin to have doubts.
One can mention to fresh investigation in which Poles were asked whether they would go to war to defend their country. possibly for the first time in history, investigation results show that there have been quite a few "actually what to defend" responses from people with conservative views.
This, in my opinion, is simply a very worrying trend on the 1 hand, but on the another hand it is not a large surprise to me, due to the fact that I have long pointed out that citizens will think that they request a state, that it must give them something, something concrete, not just take it. This can't be a one-sided relationship.
In the second case, what is my assessment of whether Poles inactive request Polish answer is completely obvious. Of course we request it, due to the fact that we are part of it, we are of it, we are Poles. To be honest, I don't even feel the request to justify this answer.
It is clear that a nation with specified a history, with specified an identity built over centuries as Poles request their own state. Of course, there may be circumstances erstwhile this country has limited sovereignty, there may be circumstances erstwhile this country does not even have in the legal sense, as has been the case for over 100 years of occupation. But that doesn't mean the answer would be negative. At the time, we inactive needed this country and so it was revived in 1918.
What Polish enemies want?
It will not be any surprise, nor any discovery, as I will first say, that they want a weak Poland. This is simply a general regulation in global relations. If we have an enemy, we always want that enemy was as weak as possible.
What makes you so weak? By interior conflict, by various types of blockades and economical handicaps, due to the fact that the power of the state is very much determined by the economy.
Of course, the strength of the state is besides determined by the patriotic attitude of citizens or the good organisation of the state, but it is besides very crucial whether these citizens are wealthy or able to increase their wealth, due to the fact that if they can, they besides have something to defend. Then the motivation to defend your country is greater.
In consequence to this question, it is besides crucial to mention the circumstantial aspects resulting from our geographical position, or from our membership of the European Union, where competition between countries is taking place. I would not say that anyone in the European Union is our enemy.
For example, I would not say that Germany is our enemy. I'd say they're a partner to us, and we have quite a few conflicting interests. Certain interests are, of course, consistent or identical, but there are not so many. But here we are not dealing with an enemy state, but more of a competitor or a rival. And specified a rival, utilizing various mechanisms built into the European Union, will effort to weaken us in those aspects in which Poland feels threatened, which is completely apparent to me.
I don't justice this at all in ethical or moral terms, due to the fact that I don't think that's the way to justice a game between countries. I can say, however, that Polish elites are unfortunately incapable to meet these challenges. And they are not in a position to do so, whether they are enemies, or rivals or competitors, to successfully oppose.
Jerzy Kwasniewski (President of the Ordo Iuris Institute)
Do Poles inactive request Poland?
Poles request Poland more than always in our lifetime. In a planet in which sovereignty is destroyed, only our own homeland can give us freedom, the ability to rise our children, and the pursuit of a happy life to a good end. If we lose Poland, we lose our identity, we melt in an global amalgam.
Therefore, I will repeat: present we request Poland more than always in our lifetime.
What Polish enemies want?
Enemies don't want Poland. Enemies want a territory that will be exchanged as 1 of many entertaining folklore regions of Europe.
Enemies want Poland stripped of any identity. Poland, in which if any procession takes place, it is either a LGBT parade or a reconstruction without shadowing the knowing of folklore rituals.
Enemies want a Poland where no 1 is Polish anymore. They're all Europeans, they're all global interns.
That's the kind of approach we gotta fight. We must reassure everyone in that they want to be Poles, that it is good to be Polish, that to be Polish and to be Catholic is beautiful, and that it truly is something that brings us happiness, us and our families.
Krystian Kratiuk
Do Poles inactive request Poland?
This question can be answered twice due to the fact that it can be understood twice.
Poles, of course, request Poland – they request their country, independent not only of another states, but besides of anti-Polish ideology. Independent from atheism, from genderism, from communism, from neo-marksism, and from all that is hidden by the ideology of woke. Whether specified a Polish country exists is simply a separate issue. We know that there is surely no Polish state independent of another global institutions, due to the fact that the European Union has taken over any of the competences which, from my point of view, should be reserved for self-organising Polish citizens. We are besides not independent of another powers, due to the fact that they will impoverish us with political parties that, even if exchanged in power, unite them even the unbearable subordinateity of the American embassy. During the regulation of the current coalition, this is done in a pushy way – photographs of individual ministers showing their ideas with Mr. Mike Brzeziński are a survey of deep shame for all man dreaming of independence. The only large players in our region, from which we hold our independence, is Russia. Very good. Are we independent of the ideology I mentioned? We were inactive arrogant of the erstwhile government, but present it seems that as a state we are bowing down to these currents from week to week.
And the second knowing of the question asked in the probe: do Poles present seem to request Poland erstwhile considering this in a factual way? Unfortunately, not to a large degree – this shows the consequence of last year's elections, in which the majority of the votes were won not only by groups having no independency of Poland and Poles, but even boasting about this shameful view. At the same time, the polls proceed to point out that citizens of our country are very eager to look at the European Union without being able to see the expanding threats from Brussels to the remnants of our independence. This is incredibly sad, but looking at the textbooks of Polish past we realize that this is not something completely new. There were times erstwhile the Barsk Confederation and then Targowice was formed. There were Poles voting for partitions, there were Poles dealing with anti-Polish and anti-Catholic invaders, and yet there were even Poles building after 1945 on Vistula communism. present it may seem that many Poles do not request independence, but I am convinced that if they were to test it more thoroughly, if everyone had access to information not only on television, and were asked about it, a tiny part of it could, however, advocate independence. But possibly it's just my dream.
What Polish enemies want?
Our enemies want an impotent, subordinate, divided Poland. 1 that doesn't know what it is or why it's expected to exist. And the easiest way to make specified a state is to systematically flush out his identity and sense of community from society. This is what is done by the largest media, immense corporations, giants BigTech and BigData, and by countries wishing to form domains in this area. This is what the education of shame has been serving us for years, this is what the promotion of abortion serves, this is what the promotion of homosexuality, divorce, individualism and consumerism serves, as well as – and possibly above all – the fight against the Catholic Church and our holy faith, which for generations constituted the identity of Poles and representatives of another nations surviving together with us territories belonging to I, II and yet and the unfortunate IIIrd Republic.
Today, in November AD 2024, under the regulation of Donald Tusk, we are so on the perfect way to make precisely the kind of country that Poland's enemies request – dependent, flowing with the current, pursuing another people's interests, neglecting their own abroad policy, in addition accepting and promoting deviance, fornication and fighting against Christ's cross.
Fr. Prof. Paweł Bortkiewicz (ethic)
Do Poles inactive request Poland?
The first problem is that the answer to a question that should be rhetorical is not obvious. Why is that? It seems to me that 1 can look at the latest past of Poland in the position of the reversed process. In 1979, thanks to the first pilgrimage of St. John Paul II to his homeland, People's Poland remembered its Christianity, a socialist society laboriously constructed over the Vistula became a nation. The fact that it is only the initiation of the process was well known by the pope himself, as evidenced by his eloquent request for the continuation and preservation of the heritage (please you...) said in Błonia Kraków. The second papal initiative related to the safeguarding of the freedom of the Decalogue in 1991 was a minute of very crucial change. This task has been completely rejected and today, as a consequence of successive events, any of us have ceased to value the value of the state and its culture. The category of nation has besides fallen. For we have become not even a divided society, but fighting tribes. Therefore, I believe that any of Poland does not request to be a political, historical substance, established in a sovereign nation and having aspirations. Of course, there is another part that appreciates the value of Poland, Polish culture and the Polish people. He besides believes, based on historical experience, that Polishness will survive, due to the fact that Polishness is not only normal, but besides value and holiness.
However, this state of affairs means that we have 2 Polish, 2 societies and 2 patriotisms. This does not necessarily reflect the division drawn up by Antoni Słonimski or Jan Józef Lipski in their deliberations, but is simply a fresh version of this division.
What Polish enemies want?
When, years ago, the president proposed to celebrate independency under the sign of a “chocolate eagle” he may have expressed the thought of Poland expressed and promoted by a peculiar political group. This Poland may seem attractive. She's susceptible to consumption. It seems to satisfy pleasure. But this imagination contains 2 dangers. Firstly, 1 can easy and willingly consume specified Poland. besides by the outside neighbors. She's attractive but vulnerable. Of course, along with the first bites will come praise, but as time goes by, it will show that Poland will just be gone.
Secondly, the "chocolate eagle" is besides very unstable, susceptible to the sun and water. To ideological threats. It is Poland, in fact, defenceless, without perspective, shrinking. Poland, which is doomed to destruction. Consumed both by their own and above all by strangers. The illustration of the “chocolate eagle” may seem naive, but it is all the more worrying to put this grotesque into a modern policy that weakens political, military, economical sovereignty. And besides condemning Poland to submission to ideological dictatorship in terms of climate, the structure of matrimony and family, human life and the first human rights – the right to life. The conclusion of these considerations may be a simple message – Polish enemies simply do not want Poland to exist.
Prof. Jakub Polit (Institute of past of the Jagiellonian University)
Do Poles inactive request Poland?
As my wife says, "What kind of stupid question is this?", referring consciously or not to a poem by Lechonia. If the nation announces that it no longer needs Poland, it will mean that it is no longer a Polish nation, and so that Poland is no longer there...
What Polish enemies want?
I'll say it brutally: none. Even if the name “Poland” is on the label, it is to be Poland, from which only the description would remain. Labels change easily...
Paweł Lisicki (the editor-in-chief of the weekly “To Things”)
Do Poles inactive request Poland?
If Poles did not request Poland, they would not be Poles. This is simply a sine qua non condition. Of course, there is simply a question about which Poles and what Poland is about. Unfortunately, we have an expanding and constantly increasing number of people speaking Polish, who increasingly identify with Polish tradition, with Polish culture, with Polish national interest and with Polish people.
For these people Poland is increasingly an obstacle. Their imagination of reality is that the national state is disappearing, melting, becoming part of a larger organism, specified as the European Union. Not only do they not request Poland, but they treat it as a kind of restriction, as something to be overcome.
I don't call these people Poles. For me, a Pole who thinks in this way ceases to be with a Polish automatic and becomes any form of national nihilism, any kind of university or a pseudo-European.
What Polish enemies want?
They would like a weak, non-svowern Poland, without elites who think in national terms, and only think of their own interests. They would want Poland, which is internally bound, divided, broken. They would like a Poland that would be represented by those for whom Poland is an obstacle, a disadvantage and something that needs to be overcome and rejected.
At this point it is besides worth considering what Poland is and what is the nature and essence of Polishness. Whether anyone likes it or not, Poland without Christianity simply does not exist. specified a creature does not be and never existed. Poland appeared in 966 in seed form erstwhile Mieszko I was baptized. It then became a state form, recognized among the European nations erstwhile Bolesław Chrobry won the royal crown in 1025. Since that moment, i.e. since Chrobry was crowned king of Poland, Poland has become a full entity among another European nations. This was the minute erstwhile Poland entered the past of Europe and the past of the world. Therefore, it is impossible to imagine any another Polish than Polish Christian.
Those who imagine specified a Poland, de facto think in non-Polish categories.
Andrzej Pilipiuk (writer, writer “Polonia Christiana”
Do Poles inactive request Poland?
First of all, people are tired of the constant conflict with “our” officials. Lex Szyszko showed that 1 decision could be taken to repeal a mass of moronic rules. That you can give people freedom to decide their property. That thousands of jobs in the bureaucratic apparatus are de facto unnecessary.
People are tired and irritated by these fresh restrictions. The work to registry each hen, not to smoke leaves or weeds on its own plot, forcing fresh – costly – solutions for heating houses etc.
We request Poland! Poland is radically unbureaucratic – where it is possible to place the home on its own land without laborious collection of permits. Most citizens don't request to aid – unless they rob or disturb.
We request a just Poland – without holy cows. We request a country where a politician, justice or authoritative is liable for the consequences of their decisions. A country where organization affiliation does not give the magic shield of immunity, where traitors are hanged, the catchers are imprisoned, and the villains are taken short and specifically for the mouth.
We request a strong and rich Poland – but if there are conditions, we can handle it ourselves.
We request Poland!
What Polish enemies want?
I think the Germans completely satisfy what we see outside the window. We have a servilistic (not to say collaborational) government. The power extinguishs uncomfortable infrastructure investments for Germany. The Tusk government withdraws from requests for war reparations etc.
Western corporations operate freely on our territory, enjoy privileges which are not available to autochthon companies, transfer profits to taxation havens or home countries.
Our enemies from the West paradoxically recovered from the desire to take Poland as a certain territory. They are full satisfied with securing their interests and regularly milking us financially. The humiliations and malice that European "elites" do not spare us are mainly ritualistic – they remind the "subhumans" who govern the EU.
For Russia, the current situation is besides to any degree satisfactory. Their friends returned to power from the "reset" – let us add friends on whom the Kremlin has full files of various hooks. If the Germans want to return to relationship with Putin – no 1 in Poland will spread sand in modes. The only thing that bothers the Russians is our membership of NATO and the fact that military aid for Ukraine is translocated mainly through the territory of Poland. We live in a country dreamt of by our enemies.
Dr. Jakub Majewski (international affairs analyst)
Do Poles inactive request Poland?
We can give 2 answers – nonsubjective and subjective, from the point of view of Poles themselves. The nonsubjective answer is simple: yes, Poles inactive request Poland and will always request it, as a guarantor of Polish interests. It is worth noting that present Poland so frequently ignores Polish interests for the benefit of others – after all, if Poland were not there, for example, if our Homeland dissolved in the European Union, even though this Union was much more favourable to Poles than it truly is, and it would service Poles' interests little than our present, weakened statehood. This is due to the simple fact that there are more interest groups in the larger state organisms, and the state, balancing between these interests, must devote 1 interest to another – and the interests of the weaker organization will most frequently be sacrificed. There are situations where, within the framework of political union, the stronger organization consciously gives up any of his interests for the protection of a weaker partner – a classical example of our old Republic, which unilaterally restricted the rights of Poles in Lithuania for common benefit – but the European Union is not specified a case. So if he goes through the process of bringing associate States together into 1 superstate, we will increasingly see what is now frequently obvious, that this superstate is more of a service to another interests than our own. And the more reality this will be, the more we will discover that these mechanisms which in our strategy let the nation to control – how defective but yet – power, do not function in the context of a superstate. After all, while Polish MPs can possibly overthrow the incorrect government (they do not, but they possibly can), Polish Euro-Parliamentarians have no influence on European structures.
However, here we come to a subjective component – do we request Poland according to Poles themselves? I am afraid that a survey in our society would have given very uneven results, and especially among the younger generation a crucial percent would have argued that they do not: that "this country" is not needed for anything, due to the fact that they will feel just as good even erstwhile surviving in Spain, Germany or Greece: they consider themselves Europeans. Only that, strangely enough, this process of "Europeanisation" occurs mainly among the weaker countries of Europe. Germany and the French will stay German and French – sapienti sat...
What Polish enemies want?
You could just say none. The enemy, by the very definition of this word, seeks to defeat and destruct – in this case. However, even Polish enemies do not request to consider it essential to destruct Poland immediately – as in the times of the Russian “protector” over the Republic of Poland, they request to control the state, and to be able to act if necessary, as then, the nation tried to escape from the mat. In this sense, we can say that the enemies of Poland want our country to be for now, but provided that the state structures will adopt external directives, let themselves to “advise” and not show interest in any real interior reforms. They want it to be a country forever immersed in "democratic" disputes, so that Poles pay more attention to the vain circus on the state phase than to all the strings for which they are drawn in abroad centres of power – I am deliberately utilizing the plural. To make it a country incapable to implement the essential pro-state changes, but ready to introduce abroad directives.
Or is it worth reversing the question in this context? It may be worth asking: would the enemies of Poland want to change anything in the structures of today's Poland, or would the current state perfectly meet their expectations?
Prof. Marek Kornat (Sovetologist)
Do Poles inactive request Poland?
Poland is objectively needed by Poles, but I am incapable to answer the question of how much Polish society today, how much the population of our country perceives all of this and whether the situation has not happened, that for Poles themselves Poland becomes simply unnecessary. This does not mean that it is unnecessary objectively, due to the fact that without our own homeland we return to what was years ago, namely: we become people without a name...
We go back to erstwhile the art of French author Alfred Jarra "Ubu Król, i.e. Poles" was created in the post-divorce era, and the author himself uses the words "Thing is happening in Poland, or nowhere".
We go back to the time erstwhile Ignacy Jan Paderewski was feigned in America as a Russian pianist due to the fact that he came to the United States from the Tsar empire.
Poland needs us to be about ourselves. Poland is needed to decision to history, to collective memory, as a generation that meant something and someway marked itself. However, this message can only scope a certain part of Poles. I fishy that today, unfortunately, the vast majority do not understand.
When we look at what is happening around us; erstwhile we look at the situation in Poland; erstwhile we look at our history, we see that as long as we have an elite from a real event in our homeland, and specified as in the Jagiellonian era, or after 1918, erstwhile we regained our independence, we see that we are dealing with real concepts of what Poland is and for what it is. However, erstwhile the elite lacks what we are seeing today, if the elite is counted by the leftist-liberal mainstream specified as to apologise to the Holovnia, then there is no vision, no concept of Poland than as a creation on the map of the world, which must full submit to the abroad – mainly Berlin and Brussels.
Many of us must realise that Poland is and should always be the highest value among the things of this world. Of course, not everyone will understand, not everyone will agree. They will like to adhere to the ideology of Jerzy Owsiak – 1 of the main pioneers of leftist liberalism – or “do what he wants”. But we do our job. Poland is the value we request and we must defend.
What Polish enemies want?
Polish enemies changed their perspective. In the 19th century, they wanted to deal with the Polish nation in specified a way that it was simply not there. Bismarck commented on this issue most emphatically, saying that Poles should be beaten, beaten and beaten again, so that they could live.
Currently, action is being taken to bring Poland into the function of a small, obedient abroad state without any aspiration, the leaders of which repeat that the most crucial and only nonsubjective of the existence of the state is to supply warm water in the tap.
This is the main goal of our opponents from abroad. There is no extermination thought on their part. They want Poland not to have any aspirations to play a function that fits into our historical heritage.
Poland is to be a free, tiny country. Poland is to be something that Józef Piłsudski correctly defined in 1926 before the May bombing, namely: Poland is to be a freshly painted being that trembles for its existence, is afraid of everyone and does not want to argue anyone. Everyone teaches her, disciplines her, and uses her for their purposes.
It is precisely specified a “vision” of Poland, which Piłsudski warned against. The question is, are we able to do this under the present conditions? due to the fact that given what we have today, I have doubts about it...
Prof. Mieczysław Ryba (president of the Lublin Voivodeship Sejm)
Do Poles inactive request Poland?
Poles very much request Poland, but not everyone is aware of how crucial Poland is to them: for the condition of their lives, for a sense of security, for the fulfilment of certain cultural, spiritual needs etc. Those who stand on the ground of cosmopolitanism simply fall into any folly.
The question “Is Poland Needed?” is simply a question “Are we Needed Parents?” If individual says no, how would a individual like that show up in the world? The relation with Poland looks the same.
The fact that individual rejects this, that he is highly ungrateful to erstwhile generations, to the community today, to the cultural heritage, to a country that functions better or worse, but is our country, says to ask if he is Polish at all, but this is simply a subject for another discussion.
What Polish enemies want?
Our enemies, our competitors would like to see Poland divided and paralyzed in their aspirations and ambitions. They would like to see Poland degenerated from the cultural side. They would want a Poland dominated by the cultural revolution, which would then transform, as in the West, into a social revolution, and this would trigger unimaginable conflicts and interior divisions, the breakdown of the community at the level of the family, the breakdown of the religious, national and yet state community. This is what our enemies want.
