We've come to a fair end case of a young farmer from Wielkopolska. 22-year-old Mr Fabian was besides detained during agricultural protests. Last week we defended a farmer who was attacked from behind by a State Defence Service officer during a protest before the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. The farmer was accused of "infringement of the bodily immunity of an SOP officer". For now, our argument has been divided by the territory Court, declaring police detention to be wrong.
Moreover, he was originally accused of a crime of pollution, for which he could face imprisonment of up to 8 years. Eventually, this proceeding was dismissed and the prosecutor confirmed that the farmer had committed no crime. However, the case did not end due to the fact that the police brought a request to the court to punish the farmer, accusing him of wrongdoing, involving road contamination and traffic obstruction. We're presently fighting to acquit a man on these charges.
In February, we succeeded on the 3 farmers, who protested in April 2024 in Wartkowice against the dissolution of the same day of farmers' protest close the border crossing in Dorohusk.
