Who's after the Probie?

Let's step distant from the war and the media-driven spiral of fear. Let's go over more crucial topics. And this is surely the question of the choice of the fresh football selector of the Polish team. As it is widely known, Poles know almost everything, especially politics and football. At the same time, where 2 Poles, there are usually 3 sentences, and so the selection of the selector is not specified a simple decision.

The problem with the appointment of a fresh squad coach arose after the fresh resignation of Michał Probierz. The circumstances of this resignation were so curiosistic that it was a waste of time to analyse them. Suffice to say that it was only essential to have a conflict of choice with Robert Lewandowski (which was besides the reason for the release of Jerzy Brzęcz) that he resigned from moving the national staff. In my opinion, Michael Probier should have resigned (or be cancelled) long ago due to the full deficiency of ideas for moving the national team. Of course, it is hard to refuse the Test's cognition of his profession and experience. He was formerly a solid club coach, successful in the extraclass. The problem is, not all good coach is qualified to be a staff selector. It is not the task of the selector to train football, which takes place in clubs, but to make the optimal choice of players and the tactics of the representation. Although each coach should have the ability to decently motivate and mobilise players, this is peculiarly crucial in the case of a selection player, as the success of the representation is measured by participation in large tournaments. Michał Probierz did not meet these criteria. Moreover, he was a bossy and conflicty person, which did not foster a good atmosphere in the frame. So it's good that Probierz's time has passed.

So who should win Michael Probraż? In my humble opinion, the selector of the representation should be a trainer who has, in addition to a appropriate "garage", and the experience of appropriate personality traits. In particular, it should be endowed with natural charisma and the ability to maximise the mobilisation of players. Not reaching more distant times, specified coaches were definitely the dead Janusz Wójcik and Adam Nawałka. The nomination of Nawałaka should so be considered first. The problem is that Adam Nawałka is already his age and has not been an active coach for a long time. possibly he is already reasoning of retirement.

Other candidates to be taken into account are Jan Urban and Jerzy Brzęczek. Jan Urban, a well-titled footballer and coach, enjoys well-deserved designation in the football community and knows its reality. He is not a coach as charismatic as Nawałka, but he surely has the authority for which he earned his full career. To a lesser extent, this applies to Jerzy Brzęczek, which should not be definitively deleted. Jerzy Brzęczek as a squad coach from 2018 to 2021 won the promotion to the 2020 European Championship, and his release occurred clearly for non-sport reasons. According to the media, Brzęczek has late become the favourite of the president of PZPN Cezary Kulesza to take the position of staff selector. Kulesza considers the employment option of Brzęcz together with another erstwhile representatives of Poland – Łukasz Piszczek as an assistant and Jakub Błaszczykowski as the manager of the representation*.
At the same time, another solutions cannot be excluded – the list of possible candidates included Marek Papszun and Jacek Magiera. The option of hiring a abroad trainer seems unlikely. Firstly, it is much more expensive, and secondly, negative experiences with the vocations of Paulo Sousa and Fernando Santos are inactive alive. In any event, abroad trainers included the names Nenda Bjelici, Kosta Runjaica and Winfried Schaefer. Of course, these are only speculations and there may be another candidates. Regardless of who will become a selector of the Polish team, he will be faced with an highly hard task of redevelopment of the staff and uncovering worthy successors Lewandowski, Zieliński or Grosicki, who either have already said goodbye to the typical career, or will do so in a moment.
