– We live in a country where it is hard to tell on which legal acts and declarations can be relied on. The promises of the Prime Minister of the ruling camp mean nothing due to the fact that they are thrown into the basket immediately after the election. Laws are ignored, judgments of courts and tribunals are challenged. So we scope for the only tool that seems to be recognized by the ruling majority as completely undisputed, absolutely certain, that is, after the resolution of the Sejm. Since the Civic Platform is attempting to regulation our country through resolutions of the Sejm, and since Prime Minister Tusk we hear that he will protest against the migration pact and that he will not agree to the adoption of the immigration pact in Poland, let us then scope for the resolution of the Sejm – to be certain that Prime Minister Tusk will actually carry out this promise.

— Michał Wawer (@MichaelWawer) February 6, 2025As a Confederation, we are submitting a draft parliamentary resolution requiring the government to denounce, to argue the migration pact, to refuse to implement the migration pact into the Polish legal order in the European Union. And we anticipate that all parties outside the Left, due to the fact that all parties outside the Left are now opposed to the Migration Pact, will support our resolution, support our desire that Poland does not gotta implement all these absurd obligations arising from the Migration Pact.
