Roman Lazarus:
– We are appealing to the government, to the Prime Minister, we will issue an enquiry on this matter. We request transparency in public finances. We request that the reporting of the finance minister be complete and credible.
To all state gross and expenditure were budgeted and subject to parliamentary control.
The country's debt is to be revealed in full. It is not actual that the amount of debt may vary depending on who counts. This is an unacceptable situation. Debt is debt. If it is repaid, it must be shown in full in the reports of the Ministry of Finance.
Not including crucial amounts in the budget is cheating on the public. No government has the right to camouflage spending to make reality that it is better than in reality.
The situation is that, if you sum up the individual budget deficits starting in 2015, their full does not match the full state debt as of today. Well... the authoritative debt is PLN 1.5 trillion, while this increasing deficit over the years amounts to little than PLN 1.2 trillion. Which proves unequivocally that Somewhere more than 300 billion PLN.
Meanwhile – NOTE! What does the government do? What does the full Sejm do? We protest, above all, against the resolution adopted by the Sejm in which it approved, granted discharge to the government in respect of the implementation of the budget for 2023. It is not classified information that our national budget is different from that of the EU. There's a immense gap here. And, in this situation, the Sejm, with the exception of the Confederate Members, gives discharge in respect of the implementation of the budget to the government. It's a stamp fix under the left spending.
This was done against the findings of the ultimate Audit Chamber, which undertook to check the spending of public funds. She conducted 169 unit checks in which she formulated 202 assessments. And only 61% of these assessments were positive. 39% were negative. And this was passed, approved by the Sejm with practically all the votes but the Confederate Members.
We request transparency in public finances. And we'll be asking the government what about the settlements of the erstwhile power? What are these PiSu accounts expected to consist of, since you have placed the stamp of authenticity and given discharge in respect of the implementation of the budget for 2023.
