The last weeks brought a fresh set of Ukrainian expressions of gratitude to Poland and Poles. First, we had the placing of the banner ornamentation on the Rosomak armored transporters acquired from Poland by Ukraine. At the moment, the head of MON Kosiniak-Kamish woke up from lethargy, who criticised the Ukrainians' attitude, recognizing this manifestation as an abominable 1 in Polish-Ukrainian relations. The case was described by the Ukrainian net portals, which of course considered that Poland interfered with the interior affairs of Ukraine, that since it sold the military equipment to Ukraine, it has no right to interfere with the way it was intended. They besides quoted erstwhile PiSowski Ambassador of Poland in Kiev Jan Piekło, who stated that the “Volyńska tragedy” cannot have a decisive impact on current relations and that he is not certain that the photographs of the Rosomacs with the banner emblems are not Russian provocation (sic!). In addition, Hell stated that we cannot ban Ukraine from worshiping its heroes.
This is not actual due to the fact that arms producers in contracts frequently include clauses on its destination or prohibition of apostasy to circumstantial countries. The Polish side of course should have predicted that the Ukrainians would do so and simply include it in the contract. Poland donated part of military equipment to Ukraine, which included French or British components, so that it could do so had to receive approval from these countries. However, in the full case, the cherry on the cake was the comments of Ukrainians under the article. Again, I could read abusive comments about “Lachs” and “Influences”. That we are impertinent due to the fact that we sold Ukraine's weapons by earning on it at a time erstwhile this 1 is in a critical situation and we inactive interfere with what Ukraine does with the equipment that it owns. 1 of the netizens stated that Ukraine's problems are due to the fact that Ukraine is surrounded by nations whose goal is large Russia, large Poland and large Hungary. The worst of all is that 2 of these countries have been admitted to the European Union, which, as the author of the post shows, is simply a misunderstanding. There are besides allegations that during planet War II in Poland Hitler planted extermination camps due to the fact that Poles were anti-Semites who gave up Jews to Germans and were eager to watch their executions – "Two nations that hated and killed Ukrainians: Russians and Poles...". It is besides mentioned that Poles are “Polish k.wa”. All these comments are published by Facebook, which someway does not censor Ukrainians. All comments but 1 were hostile and aggressive, only 1 tried to alleviate Ukrainian moods, but this 1 came from a Pole surviving in Ukraine.
On Wednesday, January 1, Lviv celebrated the 116th birthday of the leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (CNS) Stepan Bandera. Participants of the gathering laid flowers at the statue of Stepan Bandera, then a ceremony service and vigil were held.
The events attended by representatives of regional and urban authorities, military personnel, clergy, as well as “cared” residents of Lviv began with a joint mourning prayer for Stepan Bandera and all the fallen heroes fighting for Ukraine's freedom. In his speech, Vice-President of the Lviv Oblast Council Yuri Cholod stressed that Stepan Bandera is simply a symbol of the Ukrainian struggle. In particular, he recalled that the ultimate Council of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers had late been contacted on anti-Ukrainian draft laws in the Polish Parliament, discrediting the CNS and UPA. Yuri Cholod called on Polish politicians to halt conducting specified activities: “It is not up to you to measure our fight and Stepan Bandera. But you should surely appreciate that the Moscow invasion would have been on Polish dirt a long time ago, if it had not been for our heroes, if it had not been for thousands of human lives.” Stepan Bandera Regional Award was besides presented, this year awarded to the head of the Lviv regional organization of the Federation of Officers of Ukraine Petro Kostyuk.
As you can see, Ukrainians manipulate besides that Putin would take over Poland after taking Ukraine, but there is no reason to be amazed by these primitives, since both representatives of PiSu, PO, PSL or even Confederates repeated these stupid opinions that if it wasn't for the defence of Ukrainians Putin would be in Warsaw. Ukrainians are willing to duplicate these opinions for their benefit.
On 3 January this year, on the day of the beginning of the Polish Presidency in the European Union, Polish farmers organized a mass protest in Warsaw. Ukrainian media emphasized that the slogans of Polish farmers were populist and detached from reality. The protest was supported by Polish politicians with a bad reputation in the context of their attitude towards Ukraine. It was stressed that they were the same people who torpedoed the transport of Ukrainian grain in 2023.
"At the farmers' protest came the candidate for president of the Republic of Poland from the opposition organization “Law and Justice” Karol Nawrocki, manager of the Institute of National Memory, who was erstwhile remembered for calling Galicia “Małopolska East”.
The protest besides noted "a scandalous Ukrainian-phobic policy, an anti-Semite, MP at the Sejm of the far-right Confederation, Grzegorz Braun. (...) It was this politician who threw a Christmas tree in the garbage in 2024 from the Krakow City Court, due to the fact that there were toys with Ukrainian symbols on the tree. (...) Brown was besides remembered for his call for “to halt flagranting Poland”. It was stressed that the Confederation is simply a tiny group in the Polish parliament. The Ukrainian portal ZAXID deplores that since 2023 no statements have been made by farmers cutting off from the scandalous Confederate policy and party.
Finally, Karol Nawrocki's opinion that it is presently impossible to accept Ukraine into NATO and the EU in the context of the failure of this country to account for the Volynian crime. Of course, Nawrocki's declarations are a kind of "choice sausage" aimed at gaining support among voters about national views. If Nawrocki were to become president, he would surely proceed on the Ukrainian section that reconciles the policy of the current PiSowski president in Polish right. The election of Nawrocki's play besides falls within the legal aspects of the anticipation of Ukraine joining global pacts "Ukraine cannot now be found in NATO or the EU for any another reason than the issue of settling for crimes in Poles. The declaration of an informal presidential candidate caused Kiev's sharp reaction and TVN station. The American tv station broadcasting in Polish reminded that Ukraine's supporter in the EU and NATO was Lech Kaczyński himself, president Duda and Prime Minister Morawiecki. Kiev, on the another hand, stated that specified a position of Nawrocki reconciles Poland's strategical interests and relations between Poland and Ukraine. So it turns out that present Ukraine imposes on Poland what is good for it, which is its business and what is not. No 1 should be amazed that according to the Ukrainian authorities the subjection of Poland's interests to the interests of Ukraine is only the right solution, which Poland and Poles should be able to implement.
