Eighteen Ministers and Minister of Government Mateusz Morawiecki took an oath on 27 November. This government was immediately called 2 weeks, due to the fact that Morawiecki had 14 days to gather support for this team. On Monday in the parliament, the Prime Minister made an exposé and a vote of assurance for his fresh government took place.

In a romanticist comedy, 2 weeks would be adequate to decision from dislike between heroes to love. However, real life, and even more politics is not comedy, romanticism is not adequate here either, so 2 weeks were not adequate for Mateusz Morawiecki to gain love or even support for his next government.

On Monday at 10.15, Prime Minister Morawiecki began to make an exposition. Later, around 15.00 will be a vote of assurance for the two-week government. We will, of course, comment on them.

If the two-week government does not get the votum – and everything points to it, of course – then the time will come after the vote to study fresh candidates for Prime Minister in the parliament. We'll be there by tonight. a fascinating episode of Seymflix.

Mateusz Morawiecki from the beginning, that is, from the minute we met the results of the parliamentary elections, argued that he was able to gain a majority for his government. Unfortunately, seismic arithmetic never confirmed his words.

The PiS won over 7 and a half million votes in the election, and the opposition, which announced the joint creation of the government, namely KO, 3rd Road and fresh Left combined – over 11 and a half. This translated into 194 PiS mandates and 248 for the opposition (KO, TD, NL). These 194 to 248 are key differences.

President Andrzej Duda did not believe the numbers that Morawiecki would not win the majority. Or gave, but inactive decided to give the Law and Justice a chance to drag the process of giving power. The times of the Law and Justice this week, however, end eventually.

“Poland is simply a large spiritual force, and it is not us who choose it, it is she who chooses us” – started Mateusz Morawiecki. most likely his last exposé as Prime Minister. We say goodbye without regret.
