We already know the final results of the parliamentary elections: after 8 years, the formation of Jarosław Kaczyński is losing power, and governments will most likely include a centre-left coalition led by Donald Tusk. Although PiS took first place and will effort to form a cabinet, this mission seems to have failed. And if you can talk about losers in these elections, it is surely the Left, which has been mostly "eaten" by the left-turn Citizens' Coalition – as well as the Confederacy, which has only somewhat improved its score 4 years ago and will have only 18 MPs.

The story of “third political force”, “turning the table” and “the tongue at weight” struck violently during the election evening. Isn't this the kind of arrangement that's convenient for the formations of Tusk and Kaczyński? After all, the request to agree with the Confederacy and, in the event of a failure of specified treatments, would destruct the foundation of the current political scene, for which the main axis of the dispute since 2005 has been a dispute between the PO and PiS. Let us add that the Law and Justice has in the current parliament the majority essential to sustain the presidential veto, which can effectively block any legislative proposals of the fresh government.

What were the factors that caused this alternatively than a different election result? And will the current word of office of the Sejm last 4 years, or will it end in early elections? About this and another parliamentary nuances in the next episode of the series “Where Are We Going?” where Kamil Klimczak's guest will be editor Łukasz Warzecha.
