The Sejm passed the amendment of the Foreigners Act, introducing the EU Blue Card. Do we have an even greater increase in immigration to Poland? That's almost certain!
The EU Blue Card obliges associate States to introduce a process of household reunification. This means that now immigrants residing in Poland will be able to bring their household to their home country in a simpler way. The immigrant who will bring his wife and children to our country will receive additional social rights specified as 800+ for children or "grandmother". This will besides mean additional costs for the budget in the form of treating the immigrant household and education in state public institutions.

In addition, the Blue Card will simplify migration procedures to search for "highly skilled workers". According to Maciej Duszczyk of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, it is an instrument which will let "very rapidly to supplement these labour marketplace shortages". But where do we have these shortages if more bets are cutting jobs and immigrants are working in positions for the unskilled?

The most scandalous thing about the full law is that the EU Blue Card for immigrants will be valid throughout the EU and can be issued in any country. So immigrants with papers issued in Germany will be able to come to Poland (and then settle with their family).
According to estimates, over 2.5 million immigrants live in Poland. Imagine that they all abruptly bring their families to our country. It would be a demographic disaster! adequate pests from Donald Tusk's government!
