Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the reconstruction of the government as early as July, and among the biggest changes may include people associated with Rafał Trzaskowski. The losing KO presidential run now reflects hiccups on his staff who hold ministerial positions.
Who's gonna be cancelled?
According to Onet, among those at hazard of resignation are:
- Sławomir Nitras (sports minister)
- Barbara Nowacka (Ministry of Education)
Both were active in the Trzask campaign, which, according to any PO politicians, proved insufficiently effective.
"Citizen Coalition candidate's run was fatal and part of his staff could pay for it with government positions" – reads in Onet.
Not only personnel changes – revolution in government structure
The government is to be ‘weaned’ and any resorts can be merged or liquidated. These include:
- Connection of the Ministry of athletics to another resort (e.g. as a department)
- Merger of the Ministry of Education with the Ministry of Science
- Elimination of the Ministry of Development (possible inclusion in MF or Ministry of Science)
- Abolition of the Ministry of State Acts (passing under the wings of the Ministry of Finance)
Left fights for its resorts
Left-wing coalitions fear failure of influence, but effort to safe key ministries:
- Digitisation (Krzysztof Gawkowski)
- Family (Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk)
In addition, the Left pushes to make new Ministry of Housingto address the issue of housing availability.
"Housebuilding is 1 of the most crucial issues for voters – and part of the competition of the Left with the organization Together Adrian Zandberg" – says Onet.
What about the reconstruction?
Prime Minister Tusk announced that the changes would be in character StructuralNot just personal. Does this mean the end of an era in government? Everything will be clear in July.
