Then the Ministry of Finance entered the game, which decided to kill burners with a very advanced excise duty. Interestingly, the manager of Excise Taxes at the MF had previously been an associate of a law firm serving a large tobacco company.

At the same time, PSL ministers began to hold the entry into force of the Anti-Nicotin Law, and the head of PSL met with president Philip Morris.

Polish law is dictated by lobbyists. Large global corporations benefit and Poles and tiny Polish business lose.
